talk about shit for brains.

scam.com is quite a fun site, but they are really asking for it with THIS classic piece of google TOS breaking.

considering the ongoing probs they have with spammers, hackers and DOS twats, you'd think the LAST thing the owners would want is to offer up a free 'get us banned immediately' button for anyone disgruntled with them...

I have been seeing more people mix their ads in with posts and such. Amazing. It must work or they wouldnt do that. Is that against TOS? Like having the second post be a google ad autogenerated by the forum.

On the one hand, they should get a ban, freakin scammers. On the other, the forum is a useful resource for naming & shaming (and libelling :-)

Maybe someone should 'warn' the scam.com admin guys. After all, with the trouble they have been having recently, I'm sure their enemies would LOVE to chop off scam.com's google account. only takes one of them to notice this ludicrous breach.
 
That's a tough one. They should be reported if only because they are presenting themselves as a refuge for scams when they themselves are scamming (or at least being really shady and breaking rules). But you hate to punish the people in the forum for the bad behavior of the the admins...? Perhaps someone who is a member should let the admin know that they are breaching TOS and it's quite obvious....? And then if the admin bans them REPORT THEIR ASS. muuuuaaahhh.
 
I have seen that done multiple times before. I believe there is either a plugin or template mod instructions to do it on the vbulletin dot org forum.
 
I have better things to worry about than what the fuck other people are doing to violate the TOS of a google.
 
Keep in mind that some of these high-profile sites are run by good teams seeded with a bad apple. In this case, it could simply be a case of one recently-brought-aboard knucklehead admin who was given one too many privileges.

For example, I remember when Daimler Benz and Microsoft got caught building doorway pages. I doubt Jürgen Schrempp or Bill Gates (respectively) knew anything about it.

Ultimately, I agree with Xrproto. Interesting idea being implemented, though.
 
Yeah, sorry, stoopid thread. Stoopid me. My, I must be stoopid. In my own defence, I only mentioned it for like 2 reasons.

First, like I said, I like scam.com. They may have shitforbrains, but *they never back down* even when legaled, DOS'd for weeks at a time by russian botnets, death threats from 'upset people' etc, even when OBVIOUSLY guilty of libel, they just keep on coming back. Lesson? Dont host anywhere you can be DCMA'd, and NEVER use your real details on a domain (unless its like 'sex.com' or something and actually has some fucking value). Like I said, I'd be sorry to see them go. I've personally destroyed a number of asshole competitors over the years, using pretty much nothing but scam.com and a bunch of fake accounts, so I like the site completely.

Second, it pulls the cockmunchers out of the weft. Thanks for putting your hands up guys.

The real lesson? OK, spellin it out cos neurons seem to be in short supply all of a sudden. if you want to fuck with the googleponce, MAKE IT SUBTLE. That screenshot shows a perfect example of how NOT to do it if you don't want to get caught. Dont think I ever saw such a shite implementation. Complete with misaligned tables, obviously fake thread details, the works. fantastic. Mods, if you think the screenshot has no value, feel free to remove it. And then gang-rim me, mofucks.

If they were in my industries I would totally worry about what they are doing. Report them, and see what results happen. In a purely scientific manner of course. :love-smiley-085: I have a paper and computer file of spam/violations and when I reported them and the final results. Ya I know thats slimy but some fields are full of slime. When in Rome.....
