Assuming a real world situations what would you like to see from an Advertising network in terms of:

  • Targeting
  • Reporting
  • Ad Restrictions
  • Etc

I guess my real question is: What are some of your frustrations with the places you currently advertise? Be it Facebook, POF, MB, Adwords, Direct etc..

OMG, it is like you are reading my mind. I just made a blog post about my frustrations.

Sorry it is a long rant, but I wanted to go into detail to see if someone filled this market gap.

I normally don't link to my blog from WF, as I like my anonymity, but here it is.

I was about to click that link then a gust of wind spun me around in my chair thoroughly distracting me.

Let me pick mobile, desktop or tablet. Don't fucking force me to use them all, then make me select a bunch of hidden options to block those devices.

Fraudulent clicks.

Rev matching would be cool. Ad networks allow you to run ads based on shared performance/conversions. Instead of paying $ per click or per impressions, both parties take a % of the sale; ad network recoups network ad costs, plus gains bonus incentive. (Think "approved" retailers, not shady affiliate offers..) Random thoughts..

Adwords doesn't have all bid settings in one place. Why I need to click 5 tabs to change a Youtube CPV for 1 video campaign with 1 ad? Why isn't that shit on the main screen... All that DATA should be on the dashboard. 100% control in 1 place. (Time suck)

Daily email ad spend updates/etc.

Intresting. Especially the rev share part. Thanks for the contribution!
