This brings up a serious question for atheists. You say that "it is quite clear killing a baby is wrong" as if there is some definitive, objective source of right and wrong.
Now, from a religious standpoint, there is: God and God's word. The fact that you don't believe in God is irrelevant here. For someone that does believe in God, they view Him/Her/It as an infallible source of truth and right and wrong. As such, at least in their minds there is a logical, objective way to view right and wrong.
Now for an atheist to come out against anything as definitely morally wrong across the board - that just doesn't add up. What are you using as your basis for what is right or wrong, if not your own feelings? Since it probably is your emotions, do you believe everyone should feel the same way?

What do you mean we atheists? I am an atheist and am only against abortion that is used as an alternative method of birth control and in most cases late stage abortion (its absolutely barbaric), but most other cases of abortion I have no problem with, nor do most of the other atheists I know.
We make choices based on our own moral code and experiences. It's called thinking about something and deciding if you are for/against it or don't care.
This is one of the reasons why a lot of Christians are assholes. They don't stop and think about their actions or their views of the world, they assume they are always right because they follow a fairy tale book.

You don't have to be a christian to think you know it all and be an asshole, plenty of atheist would make the cut.
Then you aren't atheists. REAL atheists have a moral code and killing babies is against it.
I don't know much about foes names tus, but laws are an abomination. We need an anarchist code of conduct that forbids abortions in a voluntary manner.

I can't help it, I'm a neckbeard and it easily gets ruffled during topics of politics and religion.
So killing a baby is morally wrong, but no one should do anything about it. So what moral laws should we enforce? When does the NAP start applying, what day?

2 reasons the abortion debate will never go anywhere:
1. Unless you believe in the human soul, trying to accurately define a human being becomes damn near impossible. At what stage of development does a fetus become human?
2. Not everyone ascribes the same value to human life. Okay, a fetus is a human. So what? Does human life have inherent, objective value or does it derive it's value from other humans? Murdering a father of 5 has far reaching and devastating effects, but very few would argue that murdering a developing human results in a comparable loss.
Personally, I'm against abortion for many reasons.
I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, and as a species, I think we can do a lot better.
