Dumb. Growth hormone production is in direct relation to keeping cortisol production down (assuming you lift hard enough to produce lactic acid, which is a signal for the body to create more GH). Cortisol is bodies natural response to stress. If you're in the gym (actually doing work, not just showing up) for more than 45-60 minutes, you're producing cortisol. So if you're not short circuiting your bodies natural GH/Test cycle with injectables or orals, you're better off lifting hard and fast, not long and slow.

what ive stated wont give you "the arnold bod". not that id know anyone wanting to be that way. you are in no position to declare anything physically impossible without at least giving the reason why that would be the case.

Cortisol levels spike during intense workouts because it's a precursor to gluconeogenesis - by having glucose available in your bloodstream you can do a lot to circumvent this.

But carbs are evil and shit so don't bother.
