Official 2014-2015 NFL Thread

That response. The crowd chanting his name.

Brady defiantly telling us he wasn't done, and the fans saying "we never doubted you, Tom".

Chills.

Lead on, Tom. Lead on.

Some real bullshit calls last night against the Hawks including a personal foul penalty on their LG James Carpenter who was finishing off a block. The other bad call was on Harvin himself who caught a TD pass while one of the refs decided to call a false start penalty after he scored the TD...which is un-fucking-heard-of. Just ask Bomani Jones who on "Around The Horn" said he'd never seen that before.

And then there's Earl Thomas's quote from last night:

"I just think it's Monday Night Football, you know the fans are watching, and everybody wants to see a good game, so they're gonna try to make it as close as possible. It's a business."

Roger Goodell is a piece of shit and he needs to stop telling the refs to keep games close just so they can keep their audience.

Just be glad the Seahawks are good enough to get a couple called back and still be able to win the game. They were doing that shit at the Titans game, too. It was 28-3 in the 2nd quarter and they got 2 big ones called back. It derailed them enough for the Browns to come back and win. It wasn't that the calls were bogus, refs would just throw the flag sometimes and let it go other times.

Goodell needs to get fired, shocked he hasn't stepped down. Everytime Seahawks scored a touchdown, I was looking for a penalty flag.

Interesting story of the Herschel Walker trade mixing articles and video together to tell the whole yarn from beginning to end. Quite possibly, the kind of trade you'll never see again.

Lololz Seahawks giving up 23 points per game after allowing only 14 ppg last year. This is what happens when you can't hold downfield :)

Seattle played like shit from the top of the coaching staff to the reserve secondary guys seeing their first dose of game action.

I hope no Hawks fans come in here and try to justify it with excuses (of which there are lots of attractive choices but fuck that shit, winners win, losers lose)...hell, if we're being honest, only the blocked and muffed punts kept Dallas from blowing us out at home.

We've played two good games out of five..and one of them was against a really shitty Redskins team. They're just not right, hope they figure it out sooner than later.

The Seahawks only lost because Grindstone went to the game and failed to distract Tony Romo with his laser pointer.
