Fucking McDonalds and inflation... what do you think?

I paid $2.27 for a double cheeseburger at an airport in Cali last year... care to guess?

:error:

Awesome thing about McDonalds is that the prices are about the same around the world.

Good luck getting a better value for money on the Frankfurt airport or in Venice.

Is that list accurate?

I could've sworn that the prices are higher here in europe. If you buy pancakes you get big ass pancakes in america, in europe you get some micro pancakes

Hi guys,

First post, and ironically its about bloody McDonalds!

I'm from Singapore, and its piss cheap here, ... to the point where obesity is starting to become an issue (we are a frigging small dot of an Island, with a population of just over 4 Million).

Whilst inflation fucks everyone up the ass, ... seeing "flocks" of school kids trampling into McDonalds like sheep is also not the way to go!

How about Marmite on toast instead...? mmMMmmm :repuke:

One of the highlights of travelling to Singapore, for me, is the variety and quality of food available. Yet I see locals going to Pret, MacDonalds, and a huge array of other 'Western' food outlets for their fix. It's more expensive, it's certainly more bland, and there's no real reason for it.

But it happens. Ugh.

Wendy's was always the hot spot in high school for the stoner kids, I remember we used to get busted for smoking all the time. lmao what great freaking time we had. loitering, trashcan bowling lol

Big Mac is about 2.35 here ( US) and the Big Mac meal is one of the cheapest value meals. I usually get the Angus from mcDonald's or a Dblcheezbrgr.

At Wendy's I get the Large Triple meal for 7something

The Economist Magazine actually uses the BigMac as a way of measuring the different prices for the same good in different countries. Called the BigMac index. I believe that is where the list above comes from.
