That story is such bullshit journalism. It never actually says how many messages were analayzed and how many total messages were spam. So what percentage?
Then it finally says that it might not be a bot net but just relays. But doesnt the huge bot net sound evil? I like the picture they chose also. He almost looks mean.

the so called "computer security expert" that the entire article was based on called ron paul a "deluded pseudo-Republican" on his blog. <-so much for political unbias

Can someone point me to a picture where Ron Paul doesn't look look like death warmed over? I know you guys LOVE the man but I'm a little wary about electing a president that looks like he's going to keel over any minute and leave us with some dick (cheney) to be president.

Besides, despite his age, I'd rather take my chances with Ron Paul than an idiot like Guiliani who will last all four years, but spend those years bankrupting the country and dragging us into more wars
Some of these people need to get a life. Lets see, I'll bet it was also a botnet that raised all that money for Ron Paul, also a bot net that keeps voting Ron Paul as the winner of the Republican debates on the mobile phone polls. Or... may be a good chunk of voters actually believe in small government and not a single other candidate Democrat or Republican shows even the slightest tip of the hat to this viewpoint?

It's not the best piece of journalism I've ever seen but come on, if that's the most hateful thing you've ever read then you must have led a very sheltered life!

This next election is a scary one. We're likely to face: 1. Vote for the guy that will bankrupt America through war. or 2. Vote for the lady that will bankrupt America through socialist programs everyone knows will turn into a nightmare of waste and mismanagement.
Well, you can deny that there are threats in the world if you like, but national security is at least a component of the Constitution. Socialism, well-managed or not, isn't.
Funny thing though, whenever they actually poll "real" people, no one seems to have a clue who Ron Paul is. It may not be bots per se(though it could be argued that Paul supporters are like robots) making these calls, but they are being manipulated. To believe otherwise is to live in denial.
