..... So I shaved my head. Hahahaha!!

Oh man, you can clearly tell I did it myself too. Something to look forward to at AD:TECH tomorrow eh? I was actually attempting to give myself a mohawk, but it's not as easy as one would think. So I shaved it all, and it still looks uneven, lol.

Perhaps the warning label should say "Keep out of reach of Jon" because I had about as much fun cutting my own hair as that guy in the movie Armageddon did with the super machine gun on the asteroid before they tied him up.

I didn't bother taking pics for this thread, but maybe someone will have a camera tomorrow at the show and post those for you to all see.

Haha I remember shaving my head once because I was drunk and bored. The look into mirror the next morning was PRICELESS. Waiting for pics :-P

When I did it I could vary the effectiveness of the guard by changing the angle where it hit my head. I had to pay my ten-year-old to fix it for me. She got a kick out of it.
 
HA! I've got a related story...my ex (whose name happens to be named Jon) was doing the shaver thing with his head, just triming his hair. I wasn't really paying attention to whatever it was he was doing. Anyway, he hands me the shaver and says "Can you get the back?" So I'm thinking he meant the whole back of his head because he couldn't reach it right? So I zoom up the back of his head with the shaver and completely shaved a path showing his skin from the bottom of his neck to the top of his head! (He had apparently just wanted me to tidy up the bottom of his neck) OMG WAS HE PISSED!! He thought I did it on purpose because it should have been obvious that there was no guard (meh, it was the beginning of the end for us anyway;) ) but I was like Dude, I'm a girl! I don't know how these razor/guard things work! So then I had to shave his whole head for real.

Good times.

For a while, my girl shaved my head because I was too cheap to go to a barber.
First time, she starts shaving and after a minute, she stops...
I say "What's up?"
She says "Promise me you won't be angry."
So I tell her "Well, how will I know I won't be angry before I know what happened?"
She gives me a mirror and yes, she basically made it a 3mm buzzcut.

No chance but to see it through to the end...

We're married now.

I shaved my head yesterday evening, instantly regretted it when i walked out of my house at 5am to face the freezing sea breeze. I'm off to buy a hat tonight.
 
Haha... I did that once too... got pissed off with long hair, tried cutting it short, then clippers to tidy it, as I tried to get it more even it got shorter and shorter.... ended up wet-shaving it... interesting feeling having a smooth, squeaky head, but don't plan on doing it again, def not in the middle of winter anyway. It was fuckin cold!
 
Haven't you boys ever heard of a hair stylist? Fantastic Sams will do it for like 10 bucks.

(Not sure of the Brit equivalant... Fabulous Ruperts?)

Nah, hair stylists are way too metrosexual, ya need an old school barber!
 
The first time I shaved my head was unintentional as well. I was in college and had my friend cut my hair... that fucker left to go to a party halfway through cutting my hair (I'm not joking). He seriously left me there in the dorm bathroom with half a haircut. So, I took the clippers and shaved it. I was like "Damn, this looks GOOD." Haha.

Now, I shave my head all the time.
 
Shaved my head once while I was in the Marines, not a pretty sight. But I made a damn good Uncle Fester for Halloween!
