Random ass question.... Do people still Cookie Stuff EPN? I know the trend of it kinda died out because of people getting indicted for defrauding eBay.... but my friend is asking me this and I don't know if people are still doing it.... I'm not really concerned if people are doing it so I told him probably not so much anymore but maybe on a small scale to fly under the radar and what not.... it's still possible isn't it?

Yup people still do it, however not at the scale it was done previously. The cookie stuffers mainly moved on to clickjacking. The remaining cookie stuffers are either doing it at a low volume ($200-$300 a month) and/or are using newer cookie stuffing scripts that are not shared or sold.

Aside from EPN cracking down on the whole scene, browser have been getting tighter via cookie wise. They still suck but cookie stuffing has become more of a problem, for instance chrome is usually more difficult or generally not stuffed at all. There is still a small community of these fellas but if your going to looking for them your just going to have to find them yourself. I've noticed too many douchebags trying to report these people or find ways to completely eliminate the scene. I'm not in the business of helping douchebags.
 
I have no problem with these guys at all to be honest. I would protect them if I were you. You know who you are.... but you know wouldn't be able to do anything if they pushed the envelope too much... I'm not for seeing these people go down either so.... really thanks for the help and I really appreciate it

I found out they shortened the cookie duration from 30 days to 24 hours which is ridiculous........ but it still seems it is scalable to millions and even tens of millions per year (hypothetically thinking of course, ha ha) but with 30x the effort to compensate.... I can't really calculate the math because there are too many dynamics and variables but I was going off of Hogan's and Dunning's case studies of what information I found..... essentially The only way for me to find them the remaining individuals because the number of people who are cookie stuffing is extremely small, I happen to agree with you there as well.... Still need to do more research about this and thanks again buddy
 
Its not illegal if you are outside the US and you can't get extradited due to dual criminality laws. But stay away from clickjacking, cs, PPI ect. Much better to build a legit biz and not risk losing all your $$ from the network.
 
With the way they calculate payouts now I would think the earnings per click would be dismal but I could be wrong. But I have only been wrong 3 other times before in my life.
 
I've read somewhere that the Commissions are 50% to 75% for the final auction price + $25 to $35 per sign up but it's a little outdated.
Can anybody confirm this? Just thinking about it hypothetically. No worries.
 
Defrauding advertisers seems like a smart long-term biz strategy. Especially Ebay, they'll never see it coming, and certainly don't have years of experience and 1000's of people working around the clock to defend against it.

Why not just jack purses from old ladies? Softer target. Big corporation or old lady, doesn't matter, you're actively engaging in fraud/theft of property that doesn't belong to you.

You're a shit-stain on this industry and everyone suffers because of you.

Your tagline says "crooked cop". Maybe that's what you should do. At least your thievery will be legally sanctioned by other morally bankrupt psychopaths.

Figure out a way to get paid for adding value, not being a fucking parasite. You add nothing to this world, you just look for ways to take from it. Your tombstone will read "He came, he leached, he died" - and you'll deserve that legacy.

There's a million easier and ethical ways to make a living. And if you must steal, there are easier ways to do that too. Look into Government work.

anyways.... do you consider Hogan and Dunnings ($28m and $5.2m respectively) 12 year olds? .....and did you even consider the angles I was thinking purely "hypothetically" about botnets and emulating AI browsing on their website so it appears as if humans are actually navigating naturally? This is far advanced passed the scope of which you even seem to understand..... You're barely touching on the tip of the iceberg and I just literally enlightened you with a truth you don't want to seem to even begin to acknowledge

.......and come on now, I know I gave the marketing/advertising scene a bad reputation because most "shark-like" marketers/advertisers use manipulative tactics and prey on peoples insecurities in order to gain higher conversion rates....... I could go on and rant about this for hours if you really want me to....... it's like you're trying to blame me for giving you guys a bad rat when you already know what most of your personalities are like and that really isn't my fault that you guys are dicks for cash and want to just scale up on people while taking advantage of them emotionally and mentally...... Psychology is a all way street and this is incorporating all elements here, The Marketer, The Advertisers, and the people that you ALL (successful internet marketers) take advantage of.....

I'm surprised how it's still a billion dollar industry..... now you guys know who the real suckers are..... it must be a psychological thing in order for them to feel appeased like a quick fix they're yearning for and for some, it may work.... but for most, it simply will not

there is such thing as leeching off of peoples' emotions which is what I think the parasitic part is.... especially if you scale.... that's leeching off a host....
