Just saw this last night on cable and thought it was worth mentioning.

Two good performances, especially Daniel Brühl who plays Nikki Lauda, along with some nice directing by Ron Howard make this one of the best releases I've seen recently.

The story is about the 1976 F1 season between these two drivers who were both trying to win the season championship. The best part is...it's not the typical Ron Howard Hollywood flick. It feels much smaller and personable which is probably why I liked it so much.

I give it a 7.5 out of 10.

Anyone else here catch this one?

yep I liked that movie, more like 8/10

chris hemsworth got some ass doesnt he?

I could almost agree on 8/10 although there were some parts of the story that weren't fleshed out. The racing scenes were tense and well done.

And yeah, if you're a top F1 driver, you're a rock star among women.

If you're any kind of "athlete/celebrity" you're a rockstar among women.

I went to college in a big ten that always sucked at football. Regardless, jersey chasers always lined up to get fucked. In some illogical way, it validated their self worth.
