I remember watching him jump things as a kid. He's one of the reasons I'm such a huge motorcycle nut.

He was my hero, too. I was a young kid when he became
famous. Though too young at the time to admit it, he was
the guy who had the balls to do what I could never imagine
doing. I was dazzled by his brashness even if I couldn't
relate to his nerves. I'll bet the man was an icon to millions
of young boys back then.

Evel had humongous balls and it's a miracle that he died of old age related problems.
