Just ran into a huge de indexing by "G". My partner met with one of our clients today who we are doing seo work for.
We've got established benchmarks that we want to reach, and when we start out with a client we do lot's of little things so they can see things happening.
One of those things is taking a snap shot of the current number of 'results' for the terms we are working with them on.
So... the term that ONE WEEK ago had 2,090,000 results, now has 700,000 only.
Confused my partner enough that when he got home from the meeting he started checking the start value of every single seo client we've had for months.
In every single instance the number of results Google is returning is smaller (sure the net got bigger of course), in some cases by millions of results.
Tried different datacenters - all the same results.
Figured a few of you probably keep track of the same type of stuff - I've just checked 40 terms and they are all lower by a huge amount.
