fuck I cannot believe how fucking funny this shit is right now but let me tell you why.

All this recent talk about gaming facebook made me curious to do a very small test, well at first I thought it was going to be a very small test, (Just so you all know I've never before tried my hand at social networking sites, this includes cashing in on myspace or facebook).

What I did was the same thing everyone else seems to be doing (I did it just out of curiousity too), I put up a fake facebook profile and on that profile I created a fictional women, well not 100% fictional I used the pictures of a less known porn star and I tonned down the images so that they look legit instead of perfect quality shit and I did up a bunch of them.

Then I created a little paragraph in the about me, added about 10 applications and then sat back and gave out a fuck load of flirts and friend requests, and used that hot or not thing and clicked on yes for "Would you like to meet me?".

It all took me about 2 hours in total from start to finish, I got done about 4 hours ago and inside the first 20 minutes I managed to get 5 friends added and 10 inbox messages which I replied to them all so now a few horny guys out there think this chick is real (Oh well).

So anyway I just checked the account again now and I've got 50 friend requests, 78 notifications, and an insane amount of fucking applications people want me to use.

Ok so now whats so funny about all that, well I just went through the 28 new inbox messages and well look at some of this shit.

I even had one guy ready to fucking jump off a bridge for me inside of 10 minutes, then I got to thinking maybe tomorrow I'll try and toss up some camgirl links and see what happens, thats if there is a tomorrow the account will probably be flooded with friend requests at this rate.

Hey Aequitas it would be good if you keep this thread going, at least until you report on your earnings if nay from your testing? Since this form of AM can be replicated in just about anywhere in the world the advice you could provide would be very very useful.

Well at about 5am last night just before I wen't to bed I tossed up a couple of links for a camgirl affiliate program and at 11:30 am this morning I've made $6 bucks from it, I get a pay per free things and I get paid $1.50 for each sign up but in order to continue that long term I need to hold a 2.5% sign up to paid ratio so it will be interesting to see.

Anyway I'll keep this shit going for awhile I think I'm going to set up some more profiles today and see what happens. My only concern is using a deceptive method like the one I just used, I'm sure affiliate networks will anal rape you if they find out but thats not to say this cannot be done legit (I already know how its going to be done more legit).

But first let me say that I'm a bit disapointed cause I thought I'd be hitting some record friend requests this morning but I only work up to 10 more which is still pretty kick ass for doing nothing but still that initial burst was pretty cool. I just hate the insane amount of inbox messages and the insane amount of application requests that account gets but I guess its not an extemely big deal considering I'm no longer going to reply to the inbox messages (Well maybe I will if I'm board).

So how are we going to do this in a more legit fashion (Honestly I could care less how legit or not you actually make it just, its up to you) but for those looking to make it more legit think about what facebook stands for, first its a social networking site so obviously the connectivity of people and unique content is a big that they love, but its really more about connecting people with similar interests.

So lets say we have a prada handbag affiliate program which we want to promote on Facebook, I think the best thing to do would be to start up a profile around how much you love prada handbags and point your affiliate links all over the place, next you can start up a prada handbag group for your affiliate program and place your links all over that, now you simply do some searching for women with interests in prada handbags and add them as your friend, now most people will respond with a "Who the hell are you" or "Do I know you?".

I've noticed that trend with this new profile and with my own personal profile, this is a good thing to happen even if it sounds like there telling you to fuck right off because this initiates the first bit of communication, I would respond something like "Hello I'm just looking to add some friends, I'm fairly new with facebook and when I seen your profile I noticed we have a lot of similar interests like prada handbags, I also love them....".

You get the idea of how that works right, don't try to give them a link and dont try to sell them anything upon that first communication, leave it at that and if they add you then I believe you've hooked them enough so that they will check out your profile at least once and if they really do love the prada handbags then your affiliate banner should do the rest of the eye catching work as if to say hey look at me I'm georgeous click here click here.

After that the lead is pretty much out of your hand but you've gained a click from someone interested in what you've got to offer, you didn't use any deceptive means to get that person to click on your banner, you simply told them on a personal level you had the same interests, they found the link on your profile all by themselves, facebook won't know the difference because the profile seems to be legit.

Also try to know your products a little bit, for instance if I had a prada handbag affiliate program to promote I wouldn't set up my profile as a guy in his late 20s which looks like a bum, I would set it up as a women, but what kind of women? Well most people who buy this more expensive shit are upper class women so a clean and presentable photo can do the trick, don't go out and use some crack hore images. Heck with this aspect and this program you could probably use some high quality model images.

Just by looking at facebook for a couple minutes you can easily see a ton of things that you can play around with which I'm sure could result in some easy ass sales.

Well here is my point of view on it:

I don't think the advertisers would have a problem with it, after all they want interested people to join their program and have a chance to up sell any stuff they can, being this short term or long term.

If a guy is looking for a hot chick to cam with or to hook up with and the site in question offers just that, then what problem would there be if an affiliate poses as a hot/horny/interested chick to lure them in?

Same type of customer attraction happens in real life in the club scene, hot chicks passing of flyers, flirting with guys on the street to get them in the club and they had ZERO interest in the guy(s)....in 99.99%
And that kind of advertising costs the club money.

But a percentage gets in the club and racks up a tab and in the end it's all arbitrage.

I think Facebook would be the one that would have a problem with it instead of the aff networks as the affiliate delivers exactly the type of traffic the advertisers wants.

And Facebooks gets bogus profiles.

I mean, it's not that the signups are bogus, these are real people that had the mindset to signup to see hot chicks via the cam or meet up with women through an online solution, and that's what's being delivered.

They may upgrade right away or not... but the same shit happens when advertisers use other methods of traffic generation.
 
I have a bunch of fake myspace accounts where I've used other people's pix. I'm a hottie myself but I would never post my pic on any public forum because I'm a very private person. Anyhoo, you should see some of the lame ass messages I've gotten from both women and men (my phoney accounts consist of men and women of all races) women begging to get with a man they've only seen a pic of, men wanting to form a serious relationship with a complete nonexistent stranger. And these ppl are very very serious. Sadly, the world's population seems to be getting so desperate and lonely it's really pathetic. Some of these people's only social network seems to be the internet. But since the sheeple are easily brainwashed I guess it's good for us :)
 
Well for the newbs at the social thing, if it isn't already common knowledge, if you'd like to come off as a bit more believable, you might want to create a group of accounts instead of just one (Myspace, Facebook, w/e).

Make sure you have pics, but also make sure that these accounts converse/communicate with one another. Not all at once, just make it look natural. People checking myspace tend to look at people's friends before deciding to add them or not. You can even get creative and think of it like a story...(friend sad about moving, another is having relationship problems and looking, main one is like the one that all the others 'look to for help'...w/e works). Use your imagination and go nuts, or just add some of your real friends, for those of you that have them, and juggle between marketing and socializing.

Sure, it takes some more work, and it isn't absolutely necessary, but it should help a bit to look more real.

hahahaha go ahead block my IP facebook I don't give a shit I'll use proxies, block my proxies and you'll really piss me off cause if they think the system is really spam free they ain't seen me in action yet. I'd fucking spam 100,000 profile pages a day with over a million different IPs to choose from, heck I'll use IPs inside of IPs inside of Fake IPs, inside of facebooks own server IPs just to fuck em up.

Then they'll have something to worry about. :D:D:D But then again so would I because I'm pretty sure that much spamming would result in jail time if they ever figured out who did it.
