Well for the sheep that haven't been sucked in by Obama, Hillary and *cringe* Ron Paul, this news does kind of actually suck a bit.

It's actually bad news for RP supporters that he's dropped out, because this means less change of a brokered convention, which means less chance for Ron Paul to get his message out in front of thousands and thousands of people.

Shut the fuck up already with Ron Paul, he's NOT going to be President. Not this year, NOT EVER.

I have to disagree. huckabee and Romney split the anti-mccain votes. So those votes will go to huckabee. Which will lead to a brokered convention. I don't see Mccain running away with it that easily. This will boost the Huckabee campaign in a big way.

I was just watching his speech on Headline News. UGH. Everything he said was sooo...

Packaged.

Lower taxes, <old rhetoric> raise military spending, < more old rhetoric> fight the world for democracy,< even more old rhetoric> fear the liberals...

Is it any wonder he's dropping out? People may not be ready for a radical change like Ron Paul but Romney's way is just TIRED.

^^ I can agree there, Romney's biggest fault was that he came across like a robot, the 'perfect' candidate with no feelings and prepackaged speeches and responses. It's tough to look past that.

I think Mitt Romney meant well though... I'm not happy to see him drop out... he seemed like a decent guy. McCain and Huckabee may have shown more personality, but to a flaw in my opinion. McCain's smug jabs, Huckabee's holier than thou demeanor. John McCain will waltz into the Rep. nomination now and that is a sad fact for Americans. If the Dems nominate Hillary, we're throwing away another election that we should have had in the bag.

Huckabee won't win. Ron Paul won't win (although he deserves respect so stop telling people to STFU about him). And we're left with John freaking McCain.

Note to foreign countries: prepare your military arsenals because we're probably going to attack you next. And by you I mean everyone. So shitty. Sorry world. :(

I still think Paul is preparing for an independent run. What else is he planning on using all of his saved money for? He also has a book coming out this summer.

You speak as if Ron Paul still had any sliver of a chance...

Turbo, there are a lot of Americans that feel that this is what we need. John McCain is more Demon-crat than Republican so now there is no choice at all in November.

Most people who truly great things rarely ever had a "chance" but they accomplished their goals, despite the odds. A little thing called "hope" which will never be lost.

And my point wasn't that he could "Win" the nomination if were to make it to the convention. It would be a huge feat, coming to convention with a handful of delegates. At least he would have to be addressed, he would get to speak, and the whole GOP delegation would listen to his message. That's what's really important.

If we can inspire a new generation of paul-esq politions, then he has won in a sense.

Thank God Ron Paul doesn't have a chance. This government would go down the shitter if he became president.

What's wrong with Cameras in every household ? What's wrong with national ID cards and the micro Chips to track citizens? What's wrong with all the Liberal Republicans from Mccain to Bush. Ron Paul is the only true conservative.
