Sadly enough, this thread is a prime example of where American politics has stooped. Until we get our priorities straight on WHY a candidate should or should not be Commander in Chief then we will have the WRONG person in office every single time.

Other issues and differences aside are we picking between a candidate who has money in the bank right now that was stolen and embezzled from the American people and a candidate who didn't cross his heart during the national anthem?
I 2nd that! I wouldn't pledge to that horrific singing either! You people need to get over your self centric "Americans are the Greatest" mentality, and realize that we are the terrorists in this world. I actually respect him more for exhibiting what he does/doesn't believe in, than just subscribing to the status quo. Are we seriously bitching over a candidate b/c he didn't put his hand over his heart? I'm not an Obama fan or cheerleader, but I do appreciate honesty when I see it no matter who it offends. Finally a candidate who may not (at least yet) have Satan's cock up his ass!

I say this ALL the time when I tune into any 24 hour news channel and see them covering how Brittany Spears is out of her nut case hotel again, or how one politician said something stupid or acted in public 30 years ago.
I think it's fair to say that our news is really just for entertainment purposes rather than a way to actually report on things that matter in the world.
One day soon I fear, we won't be able to tell the difference between the E! channel's news and CNN's, or between People Magazine and NYT.
There is only one candidate who is willing to speak about ALL of that.

The Liberal disease is a funny thing. They all want to cry about being in Iraq, Yet! Obama has stated that if he was President he would invade Pakistan. Now that would be a major FUCKUP right there.

I used to listen to NPR. Hell in fact I used to donate every year on their drive. That's untill most of their programming turned into stories about gay bars and tranvestites.

Some poor 20 year old kid gets hit by some bull shit IED, ends up with A. Post concussive syndrome B. Post traumatic Syndrome, but no blood to show his injuries. Both syndromes lead to erratic behavior, and the fucking military kicks the kids out because he gets into a fight. No benefits, no pay, and no health insurance to address the injury he sustained in this BULL SHIT war. Or worse, because it is more obvious, he loses his arms, and the fucking government makes him fill out HOURS of forms to get medical help, OR worse still this kid who JOINED the military, volunteered to protect us, dies and the widow gets all of 12,400 life insurance. WHAT THE FUCK.
The Republican Party is littered with gay, congressmen, senators, governors, etc. To that I say who the fuck cares. Until they try and enact legislation against that part of our society. They not only talk out of both their holes but they love to get fucked in both of them.

The truth is, based on what is happening RIGHT NOW, not fear mongering, or the bull shit made up possibilities based on someone not putting their hand on their heart during the national anthem; the economy is in the toilet, the middle class- the engine that has run this economy- is shrinking in size and economic power, the war is a drag on our resources: financial, security, and world clout. BTW most of the rest of the world thinks less of us now then ever. Major companies are leaving this country, the auto industry for example, for countries that have some type of national health insurance.
So I am hoping that the republicans try and pull that lame bull shit again... gay marriage, abortion, flag burning, red alert- the terrorists will get us, etc, but this time it blows up in their face, because people are SICK of the lies.
