"All local airports are experiencing massive delays. At one point, the FAA reported La Guardia Airport was experiencing delays of more than 9 hours for some flights. Delays are down to just over 3 hours at La Guardia now. John F. Kennedy International Airport is experiencing delays averaging 5 hours and 17 minutes, while Newark International Airport is experiencing delays of nearly 7 hours."

Yikers!

I'm flying out sunday morning, so hopefully it will be alright.

Delta has a similar thing like Jet Blue for rescheduling, if anyone is flying delta.

I'm surprised they're even getting any planes out of New York, 7 hour delays or not. It's still coming down pretty heavy here (I live about 15 minutes from LGA)

No snow here in Victoria, BC, CANADA!!! I'll be ON TIME! :D

Seriously though, good luck with the flights.

vegas weather

It's a horrible day here in Vegas... i can see a cloud. Ridiculous. Call everything off, i'm going to hide in the basement.

The forecast calls for rain... but don't believe the hype. There's a slight chance that drops will fall somewhere in the valley at some point for a few minutes.

This made me laugh. Reminds me of Texas. If there is a slight drizzle, EVERYONE GET OFF THE ROADS!

And if there is even so much as a hint at sleeting...the whole state shuts down.

Except for the rain, it's the same here in Charleston. There can be a monsoon coming down and people will still drive like maniacs, but let there be a HINT of a snowflake and all the bread and water vanish from the store shelves.

She isn't lying either. Want to fly out if its 40 degrees or colder, fat chance.

ZOMG FROST!!11

Austin is a little better from my experience but not much. I suppose it is a state thing though. A&M got shut down for 2 or 3 days last winter when the temps dipped below 20 degrees.
