paying by credit card is better, you get a lot of free gifts from credit card company

yea, i want to stay on credit card, so google's invoicing is out for me.

gonna see if i can get weekly payments while im trying to get my feet on the ground.

Get the Plum Card

Just remember, those if us using a plum card (or other cash back card for that matter) are paying exactly 1-2% less for PPC expenses than you are.

I have a 115K limit with a google account on net 30 terms and I'm gonna kill it and switch completely over to the Plum card...wasn't hard to get approved...

Gotta make your money work for you...Google offers absolutely no incentives for early payments.

Not sure if I follow...

you're saying you are getting Invoices from google and paying through credit card? or your credit card limit is 115k?

Sorry for not clarifying, I actually have about 12 accounts with google (MCC Linked) and one of them is net 30 terms with a 112K limit (not that I spend that each month...)

All my other accounts are on the Plum card now. And this one account on net terms I'm closing down (for some reason, Google won't let you take an account back to pay by credit card status once they've put you on net terms for that account).

Anyway, 2% cash back helps out a bit when you first launch a campaign and are trying to get it profitable (of course it helps even more once it IS profitable and you decide to scale up).

so if you get on net 30 terms with google, there's no way of using a credit card to pay it off?

They told me no, they would send and invoice and want it paid via check each month. I thought it was really cool getting on NET terms with google last year for this account, then I realized I just saved them credit card fees...while I got 30 days to pay...which is what I was already getting with my former 1% cash back MasterCard...Doh!

BTW invisible777: I was in your same position with the credit card limit crunch 4 months ago, but I do most of my volume with Azoogle so I was able to talk my rep into getting me weekly payouts for a promise that I would increase volume (he wanted to see 100K min each month in sales). Getting on weekly payments did it for me! I hit 145K my first month after getting the new payout deal. That would be my biggest push right now if I were you...getting on weekly payouts with your network (of course if you promote clickbank products you're screwed...lol).

Do you want to share why you have 12 Adwords accounts? Like what is the concept that justifies having this many accounts?

About financing, I have a Mastercard CC that lets me pay only 3% of whatever I owe each month but without any benefits... I do have en American Express CC with benefits as well but no plum card here in the Netherlands.

Hey jeanpaul1979,

The reason for 12 separate accounts is twofold:

1. I advertise one keyword per adgroup (have found this method works well for me, especially when trying to nail down which keywords convert on the content network, the place I get most of my sales/leads from). I use an automated template to help me create my adgroups/campaigns.

As a result I fill up and account very quickly as google only allows around 25 campaigns per account (unless you get a limit increase, which they don't readily give out) so at 1 keywords per adgroup (and 1000 adgroups per campaign) I fill up an account in about 25,000 keywords.

2. Having separate accounts helps me to tabulate sales on a daily basis much easier than trying to break sales totals for different campaigns within the same account apart manually. i.e. I go to my ringtones account and grab yesterday's totals, then I go to my dating account and do the same...speeds things up...just a personal preference.

kimboslice - will Amex give me any issues applying for that card with a brand new LLC / tax id?

I was declined for the plum card back in oct, it said the primary reason was because my llc was under a year old. Maybe b.s, but my fico score is around 700 which is decent.

Test Post

Sorry, I've tried to post twice now and it hasn't gone through.

Anyway, I run 12 accounts for my own PPC campaigns...I do so because I have found that running one keyword per adgroup works the best for me (especially on the google content network, which is responsible for the majority of my income). I usually put about 1,000 adgroups into a campaign and about 20 campaigns into an account (I have to use a custom PHP tool for this but it works well). As a result I fill up an account fairly quickly...you can always try and have google increase the keywords/adgroup limits on your accounts, but I have found they won't do this readily with every account you have.

It also makes the daily recording of my profit/loss per campaign onto my spreadsheet much easier to just go through each account ( i.e. Ringtones account, Dating account) and record to the total spent, rather than having to separate out several different promos within 1 account..that's just a personal preference.

Anyway, I think Citibank has a 3% cash back for the first 3 months and then 1% cash back thereafter promo going right now if you cannot get the AMEX Plum card.

It's bs, I got my llc in december and got my plum card a couple weeks ago.
