Haha, yeah Citi is in bad shape, but nothing like Bear. They are a much larger and better connected bank than Bear (just look at who the CEO of Citi is). They are actually up today on layoff announcements.
 
You almost gave me a fucking heart attack... They are one of my biggest banks! I was getting ready to pull a "transfer all to HSBC or WAMU" on my accounts.
 
what happens if you have a credit card with a company and they go bankrupt? do you not have to pay the cc back anymore? or am i living in fairyland...
 
You won't get rid of the credit card debt. That is sold in almost all cases. I think we have only just begun to see the dominoes fall. This could make the thirties look silly. The rate of debt due to the wars is a number I can't even comprehend. Sooner or later the creditors will come knocking. Can you speak japanese, and chines and arabic. It is sad we don't own our country anymore.

We need to cut the oil cord and bite the bullet and become independant again. I guess my troubles have one good sign, I got no money to loose, lol.
 
haha, so this is why my dad has been telling me for the past few years "dont get into debt in the coming years"...fack. so the new creditors can as you for the debt back right away?
