Really dumb robber tells business to “call him back”

Waving a gun and demanding money, an 18-year-old man stormed into a muffler shop in Chicago, declaring that he was robbing the place. The employees told him that all the money was stored in a safe, and that they had no way of reaching it without the manager. So the highly intelligent robber cogently asked the good folks at the muffler shop to call him on his cell phone when the manager arrived…
Obviously, by giving out his cell phone number to the place he just tried to rob, this man is probably not the sharpest tool in the shed, or is a few fries short of a happy meal, so to speak. Instead of waiting for the manager to come back, the employees decided to call 911. Shocking AND surprising!
Plains clothes officers came to the muffler shop and stationed themselves around the establishment before calling the robber back to the store. Once again, the suspect did what he knew best, waving a gun around while demanding money. This time however, he was shot in the leg.
The robber is fine after undergoing some surgery, as his injuries were non-life-threatening. However, his pride must be hurt a bit. Hopefully he acts a little smarter in prison.

Well im sure he will have plenty of time in his hospital bed or jail cell to ponder the merits of his actions he should have gone back the next day.

My first job in high school was working at Kinko's. Another nearby store was robbed. The thieves hauled off a high-end color copy machine worth around $250k. They forgot to steal any toner though and came back the next day to rob the place again. This time they got caught.

The funniest part was that they stole the copier for counterfeiting money... and the model they stole includes anti-counterfeiting measures and will not copy money.

What's even stupider is that he thought these people would call him back just to tell him when the manager was in. (yes, mr robber please come back and wave the gun in our face again)
