Popeye: I'd disagree about not worrying about Australia.
Militarily, we're pathetic, but we also happen to supply most of the worlds ready uranium & plutonium.
As it is, our new Labour Government is thinking about restricting the amount of ready radioactives until we get a better deal on agricultural exports to the US.
A trade embargo on it, or Australia being overrun by one of our "Northern Neighbors" (not that our new Glorious Leader's abaility to speak Chinese fluently has any baring on this
) , could see large tracts of America without electricity.
That's potentially even more devastating than a war on an economic and social level.

Alot of things can and will hapen in the future. Alot of things that people can't or won't imagine at the moment. I guess anything can happen. As it stands now though the Aussies have stood by the US more so than any other country through the Iraq conflict.

Well it seems they've already thought about that one. They are providing a "FIRST EVER" black president or female president up for votes.
"Ohhhhhhhhh wow yes thats right hun a female WILL change the world, you'll see!" While Bills getting some other BJ and giving some ultimatums once again....while she nods and settles for his squirt.
To Jon...How did Bush get to become president? I know of many people that have actually gone through university and actually completed university, whom just by having a simple conversation with seem literally 10-50 times smarter then Mr Bush. I mean don't you think Bush is somewhat retarded? I am far from being a politician but I do use same common sense in my reasoning.

He's just dumb enough that the far right knew they could use him as a pawn for their political agenda.
So that being said, what better than to not only have a republican president but to have one dumb enough to do whatever you say with no real ideology of his own except "ranchin is good" and that he's an evangelical Christian?
