Sharpened Image, Inc. (S.I., Inc.) is a New Jersey registered, licensed and certified woman and minority owned small business enterprise....

WTF has that got to do with anything???? I fucking hate it when people play the race card... (or the sex one) it's about as relevant as saying the business is owned by some 6 foot tall with blue eyes.

Besides, going by this contest, Caucasians appear to be the ethnic minority in Newark.

Voted. GL

LOL, have you ever been there? I went to a strip bar there once and, ahh, never mind.

Damnit man, you live in Newark and don't have any "friend of a friend" that can take her out?

Just a thought.

Gumby!

Thanks everyone for helping me!

i just came back from the book signing thing they had and here are the winners:

Runner up for graduate school (they didnt have it listed, but implemented later): Tamara Mangum-Thomas (Sharpened Image) - she didn't win money if i'm not mistaken but she won free consulting session with some group i forgot.

runner up for undergrad:
Quaison Carter (fetchFIRE)
and
Yvonna Wade (House of Hope)

and winner (great idea, seemed like an awesome guy):
Michael Amegashie (University Storage)

unfortunately i didn't win or wasn't a runner up - i think i won online voting but i guess my idea did not compete w/ the others? oh well.

Randall said he liked my idea and it would have came in handy today since parking was hard to find.

I kinda had to disagree w/ the runner-up positions but oh well. The thing that pissed me off was when we got in, the ladies who were in charge of powerpoint/layout of program were editing the slides w/ the projector being on so me and the finalist saw the winners before the program started. I stayed regardless becuase it would have been bad/rude/unsportsman like if i left. Also, it was suprising to see that out of the 10 finalistest only 6 showed up - which included all the winners.

but thanks everyone once again. WF rocks!
