Order a keyboard today, ship date 04/07, approximate deliver date 04/15..

i just cancel the order and go pick it up from bestbuy
 


oh no it's the end of the world

i ordered a book sunday night at 6pm, did the basic $1.99 5-7 business day shipping. guess when it got here?

monday morning 11am. came from 3 states away, too.

Yeah, their dates show up wrong. I order books all the time from them and use the free ground shipping option. They say it will take 5+ business days to receive, however I usually get it 1 or 2 days later.... much cheaper than buying direct from Borders or B&N IMO.
 
They over-estimate their delivery date so you are "happy" with Amazon when you get it early, at least that's what I hear.
 
Use Amazon Prime. I pay £49 a year (about $100) and I get to use free one day delivery for anything I buy. Considering I buy most of my things (apart from clothing) from Amazon, it's a good deal.

I've considered doing this for a while now. I order a lot of things from amazon, everything from books to dog treats. Every once and awhile they send me an email for half a year free, might just have to give it a try next time.
 
I completely understand your frustration. I ordered college textbooks a month prior to the begin date, and two of the six books arrived two weeks after I began the class.

THEY SUCK!
