The MR2 is kind of like that- looks like a mini-ferrari, and you don't see many of htem on the road. It's bling.

Doesn't matter to me that it's a Toyota. It's faster than most BMWs/Mercs/etc, and it looks damn fine as far as I'm concerned.
MR2's are nice, and it's a better car than what I drive :) They just aren't for me. If you're looking for a cheap sports car tons have come out in the last few years. Pontiac solstice, saturn sky, chrysler crossfire

Anyway there's a big difference between speed and luxury. Any honda civic can be turbocharged and beat a lot of high end cars. It's the mix of a nice interior, features, and speed that make luxury cars so enticing to me.

Agreed. I've always wanted a MR2 though, ever since I was 16. So when I had a chance to grab one that was in great shape, no rust, etc, I jumped on it.

The MR2 is a great looking car, and I actually like the interior, though it's definitely early-90s in feel.

Thats a badass car. Love the look of them

Thanks man, she's mt favorite :)

if you really wanna look average but succesful, if that even makes sense, rock flip flops, jeans, a hoody, and then a classy watch (no diamonds) like a panerai or a tag heuer.

A friend of mine growing up had an 8 figure inheritance. For awhile, he lived superlarge letting girls know what he had and taking advantage of it. Clubs and bars were just a buffet for him. That lasted for about 2 years.

Then he disappeared from the scene. He moved into a garden level apartment (basement), bought a Volkswagen Jetta and took a job as a prep chef. I always had a lot of respect for that move. I think it was about a year before he told the girl he was dating what he had.

Dude I am in that same boat. I feel like she's holding me back. She actually has issues with me making money. She always feels down because she only makes like $11 an hour (office records manager). I tell her she doesn't have to work if she doesn't want, and she won't accept. She won't even accept any money, she even pays half the bills.. It takes like her whole paycheck. I almost feel like its holding me back. She seams happy living that way, paycheck to paycheck.

shit is driving me nuts

This is a Great quality I know it doesnt sound or feel like it but much better than having the girl that doesnt want to work and wonders why she can't have a new car or the house the other person has that actually worked for it..

been there got rid of that!!!

Thanks for the turnaround with positive feedback after everything that was posted last night. Big Will- my girl is exactly the same way. Makes $11 an hour at an office job and pretty much hates that I am able to make much more than that so 'easily' and that causes some problems between us. Everyone I know assumes that this is an easy job because I get to work from home on my own schedule, but I'm sure anyone on this forum knows that isn't the case.

I'm not trying to impress anyone, I just like having nice things. Don't think there's anything wrong with that.

And while everyone is talking about cars, I have a newer model BMW 3 series coupe and I love it. I've always liked having a sport-lux car to cruise in, and sport bikes to speed around.
