My son, Chris, and the dog:



We just got the puppy about a month ago, and he's really taken to Christopher.

Just wanted to share an "awwwwww! how cute" moment.

Now get back to work!

fyi, mythbusters busted the myth about dogs mouths being cleaner than humans. haha

OMG! I thought I had the wrong forum. Guys being normal and proud about their kids! Wonderful pictures of the children, and too sweet. Very great! Who's a thunk it?

You remain shocked at that. I'll remain shocked that Mike's kid isn't covered in tattoos. Not entirely sure why I was expecting that :error:

Tattoos must wait until he's 16. If the dog lives that long. As for the kid, next year.

Yes, basset hound. AKC registered. Still not sure why I bothered registering him, since he's just a pet. Oh yeah, reg'd him for the cool family tree paper they give you. :)
 
I dunno man... teaching the kid it's ok to make out with the pets at that age? You're going to seriously have to monitor his internet usage in a few years :D

Seriously though, it's very endearing. Try to teach them both the same tricks and make them compete for your love. I don't have children, but I have a cat & a dog, and I play them off each other like that. It's amazing how well behaved they are because of it.
