This comes down to project and client management.

You'll need to document the functional & content specifications and "freeze" them. Those deliverables are what your fees cover, if you're quoting a flat fee. Revisions are not part of the terms of that fee. Revisions go under a "Change Order" with applicable fees.

Clients aren't dumb, it's just that their expectations need to be managed by a good consultant who knows what it takes to realize their objectives. Believe it or not, there are still many project sponsors out there who feel that once the concept is in place, you should just be able to "plug it in" within a few hours or so.

I just got an email from the CEO of a public company saying to me "What do you mean it will cost $XXXXXXXXXX!??? Andre in the Ukraine can do it for 5 bucks!!" Sure, but who is going to provide the business strategy, the creative direction & brand development, the negotiation with our client ... whilst Andre can do the brut force production, he's not likely to be able to do the ideation, strategy, manage the implementation or produce the revenue projections & reports to your stockholders.

I made some easy money doing this and I still get sales.
 
it's very simple. Buy 200 domains put content on them, get links to them and then put advertising on them. If you can't get to 50 cents a day per domain you need to find something else to do (period).

Once you've done 200 and have you metrics do 1000 then 5000 :)

...this definitely works. you don't even have to pay for the content if you are broke. just take some english articles and translate them to a forum language. you can go to article base and get some foreign language content too where there is less competition. you dont even have to know what the hell they are talking about! just set up a wordpress blog and turn the article title into the slug. example the article is called "blah blah come estas jatte bra prata svenska blah blah blah".
Just cut and paste the article into teh body and make the url seo friendly by calling it "blah-blah-come-estas-jatte-bra-prata-svenska-blah-blah-blah". Oh and the bit he says about getting links is so true! (I am just getting this as I am a bit of a n00b with regard to organic).
Try spanish and german for some nice click values ;)
