If you ran the world, what changes would you want to see?

If I ran the world:
  • Passive Income classes would be mandatory in grade school
  • Health insurance would be affordable AND good
  • Truth would not be hidden or distorted
  • The government would help Americans citizens before helping others
  • American citizens would be so successful THEY could help others
  • Gas prices would be cheaper
  • Money would be available for alternative fuel/energy research and support

  • The government would help Americans citizens before helping others <-Americans could afford to buy more necessities like diamonds
  • American citizens would be so successful THEY could help others <-the others could get jobs in the diamond mines
  • Gas prices would be cheaper <-and the vehicle tax would be more expensive
  • Money would be available for alternative fuel/energy research and support <-nobody would care about alternative fuel since gas would be so cheap

And how would you go about *achieving* all these things? You can't just order cheaper health insurance.

If I ran the world and everyone obeyed me i'd:

- instill democracy in all countries
- instill free markets in all countries
- instill rule of law in all countries
- remove all global trade barriers, even agriculture ones between countries

Then the world be a much better place, everyone be richer and happier and there'd be no wars.
 
If I ran the world the I would hire someone else to run it, then I'd go fishing.

I think Americans need the least help out of anyone in the world, as they are numerous countries who need food/shelter before we need our BMW's/3 story houses.

What about helping those who really need it even though they might not be 'Americans'?

BTW I live in Michigan.....
 
Driving privileges would be revoked from people that drive like dipshits. GET YOUR 70mph ASS THE FUCK OUT OF THE GOD DAMN FAST LANE!!!
 
If I ran the world, I'd stand around in no loitering areas and totally get away with it.

Agreed.

I think it's very sad when a seemingly intelligent person says that if they ran the world their actions would be to improve the lives of those in the (arguably) wealthiest nation.

Here's some of mine:

1. Clean drinking water and sanitation for everyone.
2. Spend more on researching renewable energy than on the military
3. Allow people to choose which drugs they put into their own bodies - no special cases for tobacco and alcohol.
4. Get everyone up to a level playing field (eg average African income == average American income)
5. Introduce some form of direct democracy government....then I would no longer run the world.
