I'm usually able to turn most bad experiences into a good one, or at least realize some benefits about it. Here's a real simple example, there was like a flash flood yesterday and I'm driving home with in the horrible weather conditions and I think to myself at least I'm getting a free car wash right now from this truck which is basically power washing my car right now with the spray from his rear tires haha

I asked my G/F to install a Blog on my "few" websites. She changed the DNS name and bought new hosting and installed a "fresh" blog on "all" of them. There i got myself "Brand" new sites today.

No, if you need "Freshness" on your site then ask your gal to install a blog on it. On a serious note, i guess it was my fault but look i indeed have a "Fresh" site now to work again from scratch.

It's only when we've lost everything, that we're truly free to do anything. - Tyler Durden.

I get down sometimes because everyone around me is living way above their means so they get BMWs while I get a Mazda. When I start to get upset about this, I log into my RealtyTrac account and look at how many homes around me are in preforeclosure :)

I hear you dogfighter.

A lot of people we know are buying Land Rovers, boats, and houses they can't afford. It really pisses me off sometimes. I'm being the responsible one, and here they go blowing money like crazy. This is why America has so many people declaring bankruptcy or going into foreclosure.

Also, they get jealous when they see what we can afford. When I see people that have something I can't afford to buy, then that just makes me work hard. Its a great motivator.

CHANGE PERSPECTIVE

and everything "looks" different..

- pouring down rain turns into food for nature's plants and living things
- forest fires are nature's way of clearing out dead debris and making room for new growth
- your wife fucking the cable man when you're on a business trip turns into FREE premium cable for life

if you believe it, it's true.

:)

I have been very influenced by Richard Wiseman - Books

Seeing the positive in the negative is one of the main principles in The Luck Factor book, and successful people look for opportunities in failure. If you fail at something, consider what you have learned, and do better trying again.

Lots of other great stuff imparted in the book. I'm not selling it or anything; I just like it.
