No, we are not buying leads. you must acquire lead information, how you acquire it is up to you. If you were to run a offline campaign, we would the middleman labor between your offline lead generation and getting it to offer.
How you acquire lead information is up to you, we are simply here to help relay information to advertiser seeking person.
Has worked very successfully in past? yes it has...
questions of morals/ethics? Depend on outlook. Person has already requested information regarding service we are bringing them too.
Hi, Im an advertiser for debt, probably the biggest in the industry. These leads don't make me happy at all. This isn't "slightly blackhat", it's fucking illeagal. It is not creative, and it is 100% fraud. We have been noticing this going on for a few months now, it is easy to catch, and I refuse to pay for the leads every time. Sure, you can forge the ips all you want, it doesnt matter. This scam is the number 1 reason I have had to pull my offers off of almost all of the networks. It's bs like this that will put an end to cpa, so keep it up. Thanks d-bag!
I ended up not trying because the time investment to gather the leads in the first place seemed to outweigh the reward.Hi, Im an advertiser for debt, probably the biggest in the industry. But pray tell how door to door leads is illegal? They are real people interested in your offer.
If it's not backing out you complain to the network and it gets handled. When someone's info is entered into a form, they do not have the ability to see what they are opting into, and they can't agree to the terms & conditions of the site. Furthermore, the consumer would never give up their info if they knew it was going to be entered into 10 different offers, which is exactly what is going on here.
This also undermines the advertiser's ability to sell the lead exclusively, and in real time. The only reason internet leads are valuable is because the advertiser/end lead buyer can call on that lead within seconds after the consumer hits submit, when they are most interested.
This forces me to only run my own internal search and email efforts, and not rely on affiliates anymore. Affiliate fraud will literally bring down the entire industy.
Because he doesn't provide the leads. Just the IPs to enter them in with. Why do you think this guy needs you to run this scam? Why wouldn't he just buy all of the leads on leadpoint and enter them in a dozen different offers using his own network links? It's because all his affiliate accounts are blocked from every network. This will never back out, and you will never get paid for your leads. Eventually, there will be no more offers available on the networks for you to scam, so why not try some legit business, so we can all still be doing affiliate marketing when we are 30.
I'm amazed that anyone could mistake this as anything other than outright fraud.
Removing leads based on some arbitrary criteria we almost never know.I have been following this thread since the beginning, but now I have to finally ask....
What's scrubbing?
(Runs for the noobie hills) :repuke:
..... However, it doesn't change the fact that this is definitely illegal.......
