How's this for a blog idea?

What do you guys think of a blog that just presents news in the affiliate marketing industry? Maybe even kind of 'tabloid-ish'... with some editorials thrown in... a blog not meant to give out tips or pretend to give out tips. And definitely not a blog trying to brand anyone as a 'guru'.

Example Headlines...

"MarketLeverage cuts 3 employees"

"CPAE Marketing Officer moving to MarketLeverage"

"New tracking software released"

"Wickedfire #1 gay webmaster forum of the year award 4 years in a row"


Is there demand? Enough news and gossip to go around?

I don't know... just shooting the idea out there. Kind of always wanted to make a blog, but nothing along the lines of how other affiliate marketers blog.
