Is Obama going to fix things in the US, or just more of the same?

I fucking hate people who say "Those ones" instead of just "Those". It makes me want to kill.

This is impossible to predict...

What Obama said in his victory speech was spot on: Obama isn't the change we need... it's the opportunity for change we need. If change really does happen, it will because PEOPLE change.

Americans need to step up to the plate and start living like patriotic people who WANT the nation to be better... not like lazy citizens who EXPECT the government to do it for them. Instead of following politics an hour a day, how about volunteering 1 hour a week with some community service?

One person - even President of the US - can't singlehandedly put the country (and the world) on the right track. Its about a lot more than that.

Exactly

The economy

I believe the most important thing to remember about the economy is that it is cyclical by nature. Things can only get better now. Of course Obama will get some credit for being in the right place at the right time (like our buddy Mr. Clinton). His actual contribution to the inevitable turnaround is to be determined. That being said, change is only a positive thing and needs to be embraced....enjoy your weekend everyone :)

I disagree I prefer diet pepsi over diet coke, however I like regular coke over pepsi.

What about Coke Zero? Marketing hype or is it actually better?

btw diet Dr. Pepper tastes more like regular Dr. Pepper

Next political thread that goes up, I'm posting man boobs or something equally as disgusting.

Wickedfire, you've been warned.

If history does indeed repeat itself, then I don't think Obama will even have the chance to do much in the way of helping our economy. No recession in the past has lasted more than a year.

I sure didn't vote for him... there were too many hands in his pocket in my opinion. He made too many promises and took too many donations to do anything like what he was talking about.

... and good luck with this tax ideas. You really think the multi-millionaire congressmen will actually allow such bills to pass?

Coke zero isn't bad, I just never really got into it for some reason. However it does taste more like regular coke, but when you drink a diet soda, I don't know, you kind of expect it to have that generic diet taste. So it's a total mindfuck.

If only they could sue for taste infringement.

Dont like zero. I like coke light, but it has that fake sugar that gives you cancer...
