Ads4Dough Referral Commission Payments Not Recieved

It's only money. I'm sure A4D guys don't want to fuck themselves in the ass by cheating few dollars and lose their business so trust me, it's coming even they have to sell some poor employee to the russians (nothing against russians).

Yeah, I think thats the whole point of this thread. It's money, and for some guys a lot of it.

Even if ref commissions are net 30, there's still the fact they've not been paid for a long time still.

Obviously, no one wants to shoot themselves in the foot, especially when it could ruin the business. But yeah, this problem isn't looking good on A4D at all.

It's a shame that the OP even had to mention A4D in this thread because they don't deserve to have their name dragged through the mud with DT. I would suggest the mods edit the thread title accordingly.

If DT is so horrible... are there other options out there? Is DT software that runs locally on servers owned by the network or is it managed by DT themselves? With all the major complaints I've heard about DT, it seems like a prime market for a good team of developers and solution architects to join together and create a DT-killer. Am I missing something? I know first-hand that accounting systems (esp those with multiple levels of referrals) can be a headache to build but I've designed and built these sorts of systems from the ground up myself and those systems are still running today and have been for 8 years. It's not impossible to do. It sounds like DT just has a clunky, poorly engineered system that they've just band-aided for a while.

After 5 hours on the phone with DT this week. I think I'm going to disable ref's and let each aff that thinks they're owed ref's come to me and I'll square up with them. It's just taking to much time and not fair to you guys to drag it out any longer. I'm going to consider this resolve over the weekend. If any one has any other suggestions I'm all ears. But from my understanding they found the bug in the software a week ago and were supposed to fix it. Once again this month when things rolled over it seems the comissions were erased from the system again. I'm at my wits end with all this and we're moving to Hitpath probably soon rather then later. It has a couple issues which make things more complicated to setup campaigns and some advertisers don't like so I'm weighing that into the equation. But I'm open to feedback i know all of you are frustrated.... do you think that's a fair resolution?

Tracks great. But the accounting and admin side are a mess. You can't place pixels for aff's reliably. You can't get the payment scripts to run properly as it does all kinds of screwy stuff to the numbers and loses things. It deletes the ref commissions. You can't get much support. If you find a bug and ask them to fix it, it doesn't get done. Really the list goes on. The system is great for tracking and the aff side. But the admin side is frickin nightmare.

Bottomline - They don't fix it because they just don't care. There's little competition in the marketplace and it's very hard to move. But I think we're going to do it anyways.

As far as paying people I have no issues paying people and plenty of money to do so. I just have no idea what to pay. Unfortunately.

Thanks for squaring up with us Smaxor and especially that chat we had. Ads4Dough is still #1 on my list of networks and I 100% agree that if those ref stats cant be manhandled by the fools at DT, that they should just be put on hiatus A) until a solution is found, B) permanently, or...

C) you could have a little reward system set up. If you recruit 10 active affiliates, get a one time $25 payment, 50 and get an iPod or something like that, 100 and a romantic date at the finest high-rise restaraunt in your area with non other than Rick Astley... lol...

Smaxor is the best and sorry for being a pest about the issue again. I really should have gone to DT about the issue. 100 spam mails a day

I hope you guys understand what's happening here. There's only three outcomes this can head in, all of which have been mentioned as being under consideration by Jason and NONE of which are good for us. He battles DT to get the bug fixed (more trouble than its worth for him). He manually figures out all the commissions and what ones got dropped (not reasonable); or he drops the referral program all together. Which means you go from losing a small percentage of the $X you're making to making a straight $0.

You get what you ask for, so make sure you're asking for the right things because those who worked hard to make it into the 5 fig/month category in referral commissions don't appreciate the bitching about petty bullshit. No one blaming smaxor is beside the point. Marketers with half a brain would have flowed this thread in a totally different direction and realized when to cut their losses instead of accepting the obvious much less profitable resolutions that can only come from the raw existence of the complaint.

Please relieve some of my disappointment here and repeat after me: Smaxor, bummer about DT. They suck I understand. It'd be awesome if you got it fixed but until then I understand that you have to live with the consequences and so must I. Thanks for taking from your bottom line to give me an extra means of income with a referral program.

if you have a problem with DT, what it obviously is, say "DT doesnt pay me my money" dont brag about a network who did very well so far without any glitches like many others had.

if he has the stats fixed by DT he will pay you and now someone close that thread because its just a waste of time since there is no problem.

I can't ethically close the thread because it is technically a network complaint thread and people need the opportunity to be uncensored and have the venue to speak up if they got burned by the topic network.

However I wouldn't mind seeing this pointless thread die as well so I'll probably be neg repping people who reply after this post if they don't actually have a genuine complaint or question about the topic.

Just wanted to get some closer on this. I got all the spreadsheets for the weekly payment people with ref commissions that Directtrack was losing out of the system. I've added everything up and all checks will go out on Monday for Sept, Oct, Nov ref commissions.

On a mac (OSX), and with firefox with firebug, adblock installed, and no toolbars? Doubt very much spyware/adware, phishing would only be a possibility if I were clicking a link from somewhere else as opposed to typing it in manually. And to date there are no adware/spyware for the mac, and only two or three (ineffective and unable to replicate itself) viruses.

I typed in the domain exactly as ads4dough.com, I went up to the login, typed in my login. Firefox warned me of some mismatched certificate to affiliates.google.com, saying was mismatched cuz affiliates.* didn't match googlead....
