Blagojevich's office issued a press release Friday afternoon announcing that he had signed an autism bill into law.

"Families of children with autism have a right to access the treatment their children need and today that has finally become a reality in Illinois," Blagojevich said in a statement.

Trying to hide behind autistic kids.. what an asshole..

:P hehe, I remember on the Daily Show, John Stewart was saying you have a higher chance of going to Jail if you are the Governor of Illinois, than if you murder someone. Based on the number of IL governors that have been sent to prison in the last several years.

Yeah, told the CEO of the hospital to contribute $50,000 to his campaign. When he didn't get it, he tried to cut the funding. He also tried to get Chicago Trib editors fired by threatening to block their sale of Wrigley. And then of course he also tried to sell Obama's vacant seat for $500,000. Plus his wife, the First Lady of Chicago was his partner in crime and swears like a sailor. You couldn't make this shit up.

Yea I think most of us heard bout the situation due to him trying to sell the senate seat. The rest he did seems to make that event mild.
