Anyone have a working one?

Already played around with it? Experiences?

Will it run in Virtualbox?

my friend has it running on vbox i think (saw him first boot it and looked ok) - even beta 1 is supposedly* more stable than xp.

Till they release it I am going to stick to xp though

The pre-releases always seem better than the actual release.

Also I got the beta build 7000 (64bit) before they released it for the public. Least it runs stable enough and fast enough on VmWare Fusion on my macbook, haven't attempted to boot from it directly (which would be the real indicator of stability once you give it total access to your hardware).

If I ever get bored or bold enough, I may nuke the Vista x64 installation and put 7x64 onto the other partition of this macbook... assuming it'll load vista drivers. ( been using XP in Vmware most of the time, since I typically only need to boot windows to see how something looks in IE7/8)

I've used it as my main OS for the past few weeks, it's really nice. It's what Vista should have been from the beginning. You can download the .iso from the microsoft site now and get a key while they are still giving them out.

I can't get access to it. I sign in with my login and choose 64x and get dumped to a page saying it can't find the page I'm looking for. So they are either out of beta copies or their shit is down again.

Keep refreshing the page

Same here. I have yet to run into as much shit as I run into with vista or xp. This beta is well done, & I'm a hardcore linux user. Well I wouldnt say hardcore but, You know what I mean....
I have W7 installed on my main box with Ubuntu Media dual boot and on my dell laptop. Both with the genuine crack :D I dont need no stinkin key :1bluewinky:
