I havent gotten around to digging dig deeper into this story yet, but didnt these guys try to cover up the fact that they killed someone?


Just read the story. This is bullshit they shot the guy in the back and tried to alter the scene of the shooting.

Am I the only one still not believing Bush pardoned John Forte (wiki, not a dickroll)?

I mean- the guy got caught at Newark International airport with 1.4 million dollars worth of liquid cocaine. Now I loved the Fugees, and I totally get that Forte has friends with money but... Bush? John Forte?

I thought Kanye said he hated black people?!

No, the government sponsored the alleged 'fact' that the drug dealer was unarmed so the jury bought it. Later, the same perp was caught moving a huge shipment of drugs across the border just as the agents were sitting in jail. I say, these two border patrol officers should've aimed better.

Don't draw a conclusion on something you admittedly know very little about.

So who wants to start a betting pool on what he's going to get up to now that he's not the presimadent no more?

I think he'll get a board or consultancy job at a major energy company.

Hello friend,

Drug dealer is human to. It should be crime to try kill one if they no attack first. Law should be same for all. Whether shoot drug dealer or shot rich person.

guess I meant those individuals who are in our country illegally and just happen to be drug dealers. I do however retract my statement for pot dealers that are in our country legally.

John Forte was a first time offender, I believe. A victim of mandatory minimum BS. There was also some question of his innocence.

Combine that with the fact that he was already locked up for several years and his closeness to Ben Taylor and Carly Simon.

But I think a lot of it has to do with Orrin Hatch. Bush might not like black people, but Orrin Hatch Loves Black People- if they are in the music industry. Orrin Hatch is a songwriter and recording artist. IIRC he was the one who rescued Dallas Austin from a mandatory Dubai prison sentence a few years back.

If you are like a brother to the son of Carly Smon and James Taylor and they can lobby a songwriting Senator who is an Old Boy of the GOP, I guess you might have a shot at getting out after "only" serving several years in prison for a "crime" that even if you were "guilty" of should not even be a crime in the first place.

If you are a poor black guy in Mississippi or some shit rotting in jail, not so much.
