So my dad just brought over a box of crap that's been in his attic since the 80's.

I'm rummaging through it all and lo and behold I come across one of these jokers.

I never put anytime into solving the Rubik's cube during it's hey day, but cot damn I'm now obsessed with solving it.

I'm about 30 years behind the times but

I pulled up a bunch of tutorials and I hope to have this crap figured out before the days end.

Managed to get it done a few times and then got bored.

There's a bunch of different formulas to solve those.

I first learned to solve it as a teen, and now 25 years after it first came out, I can still solve it in a few mins.. like riding a bike..

I do it using a handful of somewhat easy formulas, but I've seen kids do it
in less than 30 seconds in what appears like less than 25-30 moves.

look at youtube, there are child prodigy vids there that are pretty crazy.

Once you learn the steps it's easy.

My fastest time is 1 minute and 32 seconds.

Put a few drops of oil or some type of lubricant in the middle to make it turn easier and faster.
