Best business credit card?

I'm in the same boat - I'm tired of this credit line bullshit, I want a charge card.

I don't even see the Plum card anywhere.

Which card are you talking about gopher?

Regular Amex, SPG or the Airline Amex cards. Though I wouldn't use the Airline ones, as that limits your redemption choices.

I have a personal AMEX rewards card now but I wanted to get a Business card to keep it separate, preferably a charge card so I don't have to deal w/ limit caps.

Next question is, if I do get a business card, do I technically need to have a "business" or could I write "cool business" (or some other random name) as the business name?

If you're getting denied, stop applying. Every time they run your application you get a credit inquiry - inquiries that lead to no credit card look bad for you and your future applications. I spoke to a senior rep at Amex, she said my credit score was fine (its over 750), but my history is too short. They need to see at least 6 months to a year of credit history with multiple revolving accounts. She said a min. was 2 satisfactory accounts with 6-12 months good standing on them.

It sucks but not much you can do about it.

You need an EIN (tax id # for biz).

I got denied for amex :(
Any other alternative with good cash back and less stringent requirements?
Apply for an Amex Blue Cash for Business, build up a bit of history, and then re-apply to a better card at Amex.
Anyone having problems being approved for CC's?

I have a new LLC with EIN, but keep getting disapproved. My damn credit is a 738 too. wtf.

I had a new LLC a bit over a year ago, a credit score in the mid to high 600s (not sure exactly at the time), and I easily got an Amex Blue Cash for Business card with a $6k limit. I now get Amex offers for upgrading my credit card easily once every 2-3 weeks (and probably should upgrade), and even in this economy Amex has increased my limit without asking for it.
