I had a problem with them too. I paid my mortgage inside a branch, and the guy deposited the money in the wrong account. I did not notice anything was wrong until a week later when wells fargo was calling me telling me I need to pay my mortgage. I told them I already did and they acted as if I lied to them saying "Well we don't have any record of it and you need to pay it."
It was such a pain I was getting calls everyday to pay my mortgage I already paid. I also had the same frustrations, The Branch Manager was never available, No one had employee numbers or last names. I got hung up on a lot, and also got told sometimes it takes a few days to process.
Long story short it took me calling everyday for a month for them to figure it out. Then it was a whole process to transfer the money back. Keep all your receipts that's all I can say.
