Just pulled an all nighter. Unfortunately I wasn't working that much, fingers and wrists have been bothering me. Anyone else have completely fucked up sleeping hours? I absolutely hate alarm clocks, and I hate going to bed unless I know I am going to instantly fall asleep.

They've been fucked up for the last few days, but I think I'm out of the mess now. I always go into the night thinking I'm going to get lots of work done and I always end up with nothing to show for it plus a wasted next day.

It's just better, for me, to go to sleep ealier, and wake up earlier.

I do the same thing, I go to sleep when I'm tired and not just because it's late. Weird thing is - I almost always wake up at exactly the same time without an alarm.

Its not good for you or productivity. I find if I work too late I screw up code, or delete a bit of CSS or something and then spend 3 times as long putting it right again.

Most of the time when I have to just get away from the computer it's not because of wrists or because I'm tired, my eyes are just shot.

Well right now I'm going around to different forums and blogs making dumb posts :thefinger:

My sleeping is always off! 2 overnight shifts every week contribute to that. Years of closing bars when I worked in them got me good at napping. I still always wake up after 1 hour.

I work best in the mornings so I save anything that takes concentration for then.

Even if I do get something done accurately, its done at half the speed! I have learned to optimize my productive time and kick back the other times.

I used to do 9am to 2am but I found it would get later and later to where it was getting to 11am to 6am etc. Recently I've been doing 7am to 12am and it seems to be working great. I'm keeping it a schedule and it's not bad at all.

I do NOT work that long. And like Andrew knows wrist problems SUCK!

i got a nature sounds alarm clock lol, it works quite well to wake me up without freaking out.. lol

I pulled an all nighter as well... and did the same monday night. I always get a lot of work done, as I work the best in the middle of the night when there are no distractions. It will kill my productivity for today, but I think I get more done in one solid night, then I do in two average days... so I don't feel too bad about it.

Post 1 Hour Nap + Caffeine + Trance + Full Stomach + Night time = Productivity
