If you don't already subscribe to Business 2.0 (you should) then go pick up a copy. November's issues has a fascinating article on the Fertitta brothers and the UFC. Good stuff.

I got a 4dvd set of KING OF THE CAGE fights. some pretty nice fights on it. Dan Severn and a lot of others.

but anyways, yea, ill be picking up a copy. im a big MMA fan. working on training for it. I just need to find somewhere in Michigan that has the fights so I can signup.

Yep watched PRIDE this past weekend!!....FEDOR is the MAN! Coleman face was all fucked-up! And did you see Randleman leg?!? if you watch the replay of the kneebar Rua put on him, you could see Randleman knee pop out of place then goes back in after he tapped...fucken AWSOME!!

^ - Cool forum guys definitely sign up and chat!

I saw that Randleman knee pop, sick! I haven't seen the Coleman bout yet, will have to check around for that one.

Pride is 100% pure PWNAGE!
btw Tyler's MMA forums are pretty damn good i've been lurking for a while

Shooto is the BEST!!

I'm so happy when I see someone else who appreciates Shooto. Shooto has always produced the best fighters in the world

Similar to Pankrase?

I have been watching some of Bas Rutten's old fights. Damn!

It's not like Pancrase. Pancrase does/did produce a lot of good fighters and it's a great organization, but it has taken a hit in the last 2 or so years. I still check out the shows every so often.. The show on Sept 16th was pretty good

To tell the truth, I only started to get into watching MMA a few years ago when I was living in Japan. Pride is very entertaining and the Japanese love it. A ticket for crap seats was like $400

Yeah, some of my Japanese friends went to every tournament. They had a lot of spare cash. And the whole fricken country is fucking CRAZY about Bob Sapp. The Sapp vs. Akebono fight was one of the most watched events in the country's history. Sapp is on billboards and TV commercials everywhere.
