Apparently Dell sent out a bunch of coupon codes for Monitors and I'm just about to buy one.

If anybody has one that they won't use, I'd really appreciate if you could PM it to me.

Thanks!

anyone has dell 30" coupons i'll love you forever. looking for some more 3008wfp's

that said, current deals i know of:

- 19" for $89 + free ship: http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?sku=320-5629
- 20" for $109 + free ship: http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?sku=320-7619
- 23" for $169 + free ship: http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?sku=320-7339&s=dhs
- 24" for $199 + free ship: http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/...566643&dgc=CJ&cid=24471&acd=10495476-2043905-

i dunno if those are affiliate links or not, theyre not mine if so -- just found the deals on the web.

Yeah the 24" is the one I want to get, it's a fucking smoking deal.

Would be even better if someone happened to send me that code though ;)

So there's a code on the 24" that takes $80 off -- it's normally $279, and if you use the code "V2?GH5?VTH5TW3" it takes $80 off -- but that just gets it to 199 same as link above. Not sure you'll be able to clear 199.

another 23" inch deal: Dell SP2309W, 23" Full HD Widescreen Flat Panel Monitor with Webcam with coupon code "177MRNG20KT2S6" gets it to 219$ (higher resolution than above 23" deal, as it's the SP model vs the S model, but obviously more money)

Look around slickdeals.net might be able to find one.

that and other sites are where im pulling all these deals from -- i put all the deal sites i can find in my google reader and then just search for the item name whenever i want to buy something (so dell monitor in this case). finds all the deals any the like top 50 deal sites have said bout teh item.

as far as ecost goes:

"Availability: Temporarily Out of Stock"

other than that looks pretty interesting

$131.99 is an incredible deal for a Dell 24" monitor. Though the E248WFP isn't the top of the line model, the specs kick the crap out of that no name piece of shit that was being touted here a few days ago for $199.

The model you'd want to get if you were dong a lot of design work is the 2408 from Dell, with 3000:1 contrast vs 1000:1 for the E248WFP but it sells for $450.

The 2408 is much more expensive. Are the few more pixels worth it?

The E248WFP seems to be very similar just energy saving. Any advantages of that (except for the obvious)?

The 2408 has more inputs, a higher contrast ratio, is adjustable and has a few other features.

If you don't want to pay more for the 2408, than I would definitely go with the E248WFP over the 2409. It has higher resolution and a much better base.

According to the Dell website, these are the specs of the E248WFP:

With a 16:9 ratio and full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, the G2410 makes it easy to view two full web pages side by side – with plenty of room for menus and toolbars.
  • 1000:1 standard contrast ratio (typical)
  • Up to 1,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio (typical)
  • DVI-D Digital connector with High-Bandwidth Digital Copy Protection (HDCP)
  • Optional Dell Flat Panel attached multimedia Sound Bar
I think those are very similar to the 2409 no?

I bought the S2309W when it was $150 a few weeks ago, and it's a great monitor - bright, sharp colors, full HD, and a full 3 year warranty. I wish the base height adjusted, but, all in all a pretty nice monitor. I would have bought something from the DellOutlet, but the 3 year warranty was too good a deal to pass up.

I have the E248WFP that I bought refurbed. It developed a pixel that turns green whenever I need it to display white. The viewing angle sucks too, and the blacks are not black. But for the price I paid, I fucking love this monitor. I really want to get a second one a dual screen with a Matrox TripleHead2Go.

Anybody use this one:

UltraSharp™ 2208WFP 22-inch Widescreen All In One Flat Panel LCD
Dell : Dell UltraSharp 2208WFP 22-inch Widescreen All In One Flat Panel LCD Monitor with Height Adjustable Stand and 5-Year Warranty (Small Form Factor) : Displays : Small & Medium Business

Is it worth giving up some real estate for a better quality monitor if price is an issue?

Don't get that one if you want a 22, get this one: Dell : Dell UltraSharp 2209WA 22-inch Black Widescreen Flat Panel Monitor : Displays : ABOUT DELL

It has an IPS panel in it, and I haven't read a SINGLE bad review about it yet. It's suppose to be a beautiful monitor, with perfect viewing angles, colors, etc.
