Armin is by far my favorite DJ and all, but people give him way too much credit. He hardly produces his own shit. Yeah sure he's got a few good ones, but ASOT is all other people's stuff just being mixed by him at the beginning and end of the tracks, nothing more.

If you want to give real credit, give it to the producers of the tracks. Like Gabriel & Dresden, for their "As the Rush Comes", that was fucking amazing work, not to mention their other stuff is absolutely brilliant overall, and this coming from two Americans too!

Also, let's not forget about the father of trance, in my eyes, the best of them all.. Paul Van Dyk. PVD has produced more good shit than anyone I've heard of, and everything he does has this energy that you can't find any place else. Not to mention he still tours, mixes other tracks with his own, but can easily just play his own shit and still make the crowd go wild.
