Have you guys ever considered that some people might actually really, really love this business? I'm sure plenty of people here have played baseball, basketball, or football at least once in their lives. Ever notice that thing called a score? Or, have you ever had the urge to tell your friends, hey I got a slam dunk or a home run? You wouldn't think twice about that, why does money have to be any different?

because micheal jordan doesn't keep score when he plays against his son. When your clearly out of someones league than its fun to say oh boy i just made a butt load of cash on this really cool project. Not wave a check.
 
I think if it's business then all's fair. These "gurus" need to make sure the "make a million in a week" work at home noobies have someone to look up to.:bowdown:

I could care less what checks they wave or how many trillions of adsense sites they have. I have huge goals that I will probably not reach for 20+ years at least, nonethelss I perservere.

Theres nothing wrong with being boastful, but there is something wrong with providing clueless information, and bullshitting about everything.
 
I like seeing people put up their stats, if i see someone doing better than me it just shows that if i work harder at it i can make way more. It shows you whats possible. Its like a competition since were all in the same business

This had nothing to do with the bible passage you posted. This isn't religion eludes to the fact that people blindly follow religious beliefs regardless of how silly they may seem to others.

I don't understand how this can be any more clear? You questioned why I said this isn't religion and I explain in this grouping of words we call a "sentence." The victims, or the so called misinformed you spoke of would obviously blindly follow the advice of a Guru without conducting some research of their own? This is what you implied? You were incapable of making the connection and I apologize. My posts from now on will comprise of simpler concepts.

I agree with a lot of your posts deliguy. You should create a blog entry about this as well entries that reflect your take on different aspects of webmastering and life in general.

I make a lot of money, but I cant sit here and tell you how, nobody will I suppose, all i can give are words of advice, but i already tried that once, and everybody just talks crap at me. All I can say is theres so much competition, you have to get creative, Its hard to find methods that NOBODY is doing, but not impossible. Ive been doing this for years, thinking about it every day, at times I couldnt even feed myself. Creativeness and determination will eventually get you where you want to be (hopefully).
