Poor Griffin



that's hilarious. the black guy is all laid back. he should have just charged/tackled him instead of throwing punches.

Silva was waiting for that combo. Griffin threw it about a minute or less before and silva counter over griffin's left with a sort of slap. The second time he nailed it.

Silva's got skills.

griffin should have charged after silva dodged the first punch because silva wouldn't have had the balance to counter attack the charge with a kick after leaning back to dodge the punch. when someone leans back like that it just makes it easier for them to fall over backwards. of course griffin would have still probably gotten his ass beat since silva is better on the ground. would've saved him from a bitch slap knockout though.
 
I was there last night, people in the audience didn't know whether to cheer or not since most people were rooting for griffin but he fought like shit last night.

Perhaps -- but Silva had already put Griffin on the ground twice before that -- the second time Griffin was on the ground, he got hurt pretty bad.

Silva's probably the best UFC striker and you could tell after the second knock-down that he was actually trying not to hurt Griffin badly.
 
The whole event wasn't worth the $44.95. Griffin looked very slow throughout the whole short fight and had no real strategy. BJ Penn and Kenflo was also pretty boring. There wasn't any matches that really stood out and the next main event with Nog and Couture looks very boring.

I think Silva knew his range. Ali should have gotten knocked out every fight by leaning back from right hands, but he didn't.

Plus yeah, Silva had Griffin on the ground a few minutes earlier pouding the fuck out of his head. I think Griffin was hurt and Silva knew it.
 
Most impressive Silva knock-out thus far imo. Just so effortless. Griffin ran the fuck out of there; he knew he got fucked up. dislocated jaw and shit.

Wow insert i know nothing about UFC above! You just witnessed the best pound for pound fighter in the world absolutely humiliate a very good fighter. But because he's not American i guess you don't like him.
