You've watched too many movies. If you really think Google is gonna "buy" the judge and/or jurors, you're crazy.
I can think of many cases in the court systems where the underdog won. Right is right, and wrong is wrong. They allowed rebills on their system for a LONG time. They will probably claim they did everything they could to "combat" them but couldnt keep up with their millions of advertisers, and that would be easily defeated in court, no? After all, like you said, theyre Google and they have zillions of employees, right? So how could they not catch it all? See how being all powerful is a double edged sword?
This thread convinced me to start offering affiliate marketing lawsuit insurance, $50k a month ... pm for detailz.
don't be caught with your pants down~
edit: currently pending cases not covered!
Who gives a shit if you "spill the beans". If a network got served, they got served. Its not a big fucking "secret". Its in affiliates' best interest to be TOLD if it is a network they have done business with.
Keeping a secret may seem cool, but there is not one reason not to tell people that could be affected.
Should I not give a fuck just because I'm in Eastern Europe? Seriously.

They also have a page at: FTC : Business Opportunities dedicated purely to bizopp scams (redirect from Thinking of Buying a Business Opportunity?). Note the guy in the video simply worked as a salesguy at a bizopp callcenter and went to *jail* for 3 years. He didn't own the firm, nothing, just worked there and made commission on leads.
Your traffic sources have your contact and financial info, that's who the FTC will ask first.Id love them to try and come after me. My hosting is in Panama which means they are not obligated to give out any information about me as US laws are not enforcable there. Also my domains were registered by a registrar in China who also will not give out any information about who I am. So go finger yourself google.

Can't they just follow the affiliate links and subpoena the networks you are working with?
They could do this I guess. I will speak to my AM about this.
Speaking to your AM won't do shit, a subpoena is a subpoena.
