I'm in the self-help kind of mood. Which one of his products is the best one to buy? Just overall. Or any other persons for that matter. No Steve Pavlina allowed though, I've read through most of his stuff.

best tony robbins product is actually the going to "unlease the power within" conference live.

it will definitely change your thinking.

Why do you need to read a book to realize that you can accomplish whatever the fuck you want in this world.

Self help books just over-complicate shit.

Here's what you need to know...

If you REALLY want something in life, whether it be money, become a professional athlete, have a smoking hot girlfriend, ect... then fucking go all out at it and DON'T GIVE UP and eventually you WILL get that money or whatever it is you want in life.

Do you dream of becoming a pro athlete? Then fucking dedicate your entire life around it, bust your ass at the gym every single day, study and surround youself with the best, and you WILL get fucking good eventually.

Is it really worth the time to read a 200 + page book to understand that simple message?

In my opinion, self help books are for the weak/dreamers out there... (AKA Warrior forum members)

We all know what it takes to become successful at something. Just fucking bust your balls at it, and stop wasting your time reading shit you should already know.

Danc1122 I would have believed you a week ago. But this past few days I've actually been listening to some Robbins stuff and it gets really deep.

On the surface this is the normal impression Robbin's products make, so I don't blame you for taking that stance.

But what you're saying is like telling an amateur carpenter that wants to build a house "Just take that wood and hammer over there and put some nails in the damn thing and build a house."

On the tip of being an athelete, I took boxing classes when I was younger. I can tell you from experience that going to the gym everyday isn't just going to make you a great athlete. 50% of being a great athlete is what goes on between your ears. A conservative guesstimate.

Good post Andrew. While most of us here know the "blocking and tackling" of success (e.g. having a plan, executing on the plan relentlessly and continuously adjusting)...there's a lot that can be gained from a guy like Tony Robbins. For a long time I thought he was a jerk off w/ little credibility selling his "program" like an ebook on late night TV to losers, but I actually think the guy has a lot of good to say. Just my humble opinion.

Then just the hit browse button. Two new Anthony Robbins torrents are up today.

1.) Power talk- How to Shape your destiny (2 CDs 1 PDF)

2.) Trainer Academy Manual-Psychology of Fullfilment-(3 PDF)

Then you can type his name into the search and find 6 more of his products. This should give you a good start with his stuff.

You can also go to ThePlace.bz to see if they are having open enrollments. They have a TON of quality self help stuff.

Im on both of those already. I'll check these out. Good for background noise instead of random music.

Don't you mutha fuckaz keep up with the latest? it aint just Tony Robbins no more, oh no, no, no, it's Tony, Reese and Kern baby!

It's actually not a bad video, well when Tony's talking anyway, Reese and Kern just dribble shit.

Interview with Frank Kern and John Reese

Yes, they have released a monthly self-help membership site, lol.

Lots of people don't even know how to use their brain productively, so they can't just do whatever they want. They need to know how to access the resources they have. But I appreciate what you're saying, that the resources are all there--they are.

I've only really read Awaken The Giant Within, which is just incredible if you follow through and do the exercises. I've never gotten into his live stuff much. I also have Unlimited Power but it's not as good. It was his first book and he wrote it in 2 weeks under deadline pressure.

Watched it a few days ago and didn't realize that fucker has 600 something comments. I've never seen so many in my life, what a following.

I think you're referring to the New Money Masters Continuity program Robbins put out?

I saw the first video of him interviewing Jeff Walker about launching products. It was nothing really impressive, just scratching the surface of what he does. No real practical takeaways...Just a cont program for the sheeple I guess.

I like Tony Robbins stuff, and I follow him on Twitter. Noticed a week or two ago that he's doing some new product with Frank Kern, John Reese and their whole crew of IM Gurus.

So I'm curious, for fans of Tony Robbins who bag on the IM Gurus, does his endorsement lend them credibility?

Note, I haven't spent a dime on an IM product, but I'm slightly tempted to sign up for Robbin's "New Money Masters" or whatever the fuck it's called because he's got credibility in my eyes. $67 a month.

It might be fun to knock the self-help gurus, but there's a certain truth to the fact that some people just will not act unless they're convinced or told to. There's plenty of them in, or wanting to be in, the IM industry.

Besides they're great to listen to, even if you're just skimming them for patterns or 'convincers' for your latest copywriting work....

Nothing wrong with borrowing the occasional metaphor... and nothing wrong with a little 'try before you buy' using your local friendly torrent tracker ;)

:R:

Anyone who bags on IM gurus in general...I would take what they say with a grain of salt.

The simple fact is some gurus release helpful/useful products and some of them release dog turds, regardless of any extra credibility from a big head like Robbins.

For example I thought Product Launch Formula from Jeff Walker was awesome (going through it for the second time now right now in another window)...

While others like Mike Filsushi or whatever his name is just plaster the web with complete shit (Affiliate Jump) and get paid by retards.

P.S. Don't waste your money on it man. It's definitely not worth $67 bucks.

I wouldn't pay $67/month for the New Money Masters. I doubt it will get into application very much. It will be all about offering value to the customer and building a relationship and other generalities.

i read Unlimited Power as a teenager, and other than the crackpot chapter on food, it no doubt influenced the direction of my life. since then i mostly listened to (bootlegged) audiobooks like Personal Power and Get the Edge and re-listen to them about once a year. most of his stuff is based on NLP. it's fascinating, and effective if you apply it.

Instead of walking on hot coals at one of Tony Robbins conferences I'd like to walk up and down his giant face.

I'm just saying it would inspire me to do greater things in life, like go on to feed Frank Kern to a shark and then push John Reese off a bridge.

That is all

Why does this guy always get a bad rap? I think if people did just one or two things he suggested, they'd be better off! I've gained from a few tips he's suggested - I guess people always want something for nothing........
