for a normal person playing zynga texas poker, how much are they willing to pay to buy chips? or are they willing to pay at all to get chips?
cuz i can get chips at cheap price, therefore i wanna know more bout the market.

chip in if you know something
thanks

sorry to d mods if dis is not in the right section

Cause then you are aiding and abeting gambling or some shit? Just look up it if you care... Google

den wat about zynga who is actually hosting the game?
they are selling chips too
there are other sites which are selling too
it's just that i could sell at a price much cheaper than what they are offering

There is no real money at stake on Zynga so the OP is probably safe concerning aiding and abetting gambling but he may have some exposure concerning "some shit" depending on what "some shit" is.

And it's not against the law to sell poker chips, or cards for that matter.

But they aren't selling poker chips the item they are selling a currency that can be gambled away or gained and then resold back for money.. isn't that the same thing as gambling in euros while in the united states? i dont know what zynga does, just sayin from what the op said

Sigh, I think marijuana is going to be illegal forever in the US, they fucking banned all internet gambling jebus crazy people.

actually the situation is like this
normal gamblers
they gamble finish their money so they need more money in the pool in order for them to continue playing
(zynga is also available in myspace facebook tagged, yahoo etc)
but zynga is offering them to buy chips at a very high price
$50 for 1 mil of chips
what my role here is offering the $3 or $4 for 1 million of chips
thats all
simple

cmon man, stop bugging us with this shit. Just use AM methods and find out on your own by doing a small test.

1. Make Zynga chip selling Lp
2. Find Zynga related forums and/or create your own myspace or facebook fan page about cheap Zynga chips
3. Make a google adwords campaign to your Lp and target "cheap zynga chips" or "buy zynga chips"
3. Split test different ad copies/LP text
4. Split test different prices
5. Profit

i know
just wanted to get second opinions
no harm in getting second opinions rite?

cuz my fren told me too that if i were to sell poker chips at such low price my site will be terminated in accordance to the law.
this is defnitely not my field and i would like to know bout the demand for those chips

To my knowledge you cannot sell your chips back on Zynga so it's a one way transaction.

As for the OP:

I play Zynga poker a bit and think I understand how it works. I doubt many people pay for chips there, apart from the crazies. Why? Because you receive a brand new wad of chips every day, regardless of your current balance, ranging from 500 to 50k+. So if you do run out of chips you've got to wait at most 24 hours to play again. Unless you're incredibly crap at poker it's easy to keep playing pretty much constantly. I've never understood why anyone would pay a penny to fund virtual currency games like this one.

In my opinion there will be ZERO demand for this but you are welcome to waste time researching it.

true
but my friend was selling like hotcakes
each transaction was bout 20 mil of chips

i've never understood why would people fork out money for virtual games too
but my friend just requested me to help him donate money to Ghost Trappers(an app in facebook) so that he could get some items in return.
so i believe there are demands for such things
it's just that i wanna determine how big is the market for it.
thanks crisis for the input

@the poster on top of me posting bout my grammar whose name i-couldnt-care-less:u don judge a person thru their grammar usage.

1. Yes, in a virtual world, people will judge you based on your grammar.
2. Yes, there is a demand for Zynga Poker Chips. However, it's not worth the time investment.
3. No, playing Zynga or buying/selling the chips isn't illegal.
4. FYI, It's not illegal to play poker, it's illegal to facilitate gambling through poker (Hence why they target poker sites and not the players themselves)

Well, it makes you look like an idiot. Which if you don't care if you look like an idiot, then fine. But if you intend to solicit help, make business connections, and establish credibility, you should put more effort into communicating with people.

This is not text or msn.
