As some of you know, the month of August was pretty sucky for me, getting a bunch of accounts/sites banned from various SEs.

Without going into too gory detail , I went from doing a decent 4 fig/day income , down to about $145 a day currently. This was mostly due to the fact of when I was pulling in the money , I went from working 6-8hrs a day down to about a 2hr a day "Holding Pattern" without expanding my work.

So , I'm going to challenge myself, and maybe others here too , to a 16 week challenge.

Here's what I'm going to do , and will likely report what happens on my blog.

Instead of living the lazy lifestyle which I had done for 4-5 months while the bills were rolling in of getting up at 9-10AM , strolling to the office around 12, and only getting maybe 2-3 hours of work done (Most of my time was spent on Youtube and forums). I'm going to get up 5 days a week at 6 , be in the office by 9, and not deal with any forums , YT or such and work till 4pm , giving me 9 hours per day of actual work minimum.

My goal will be at the end of this time (Feb 8th is the goal date) to be bringing in $100k/mo in profit, which is a good deal better than I've ever done, but is still only a little over $3k a day in profit, which is pretty low compared to what some guys I hear are pulling in.

Wish me luck :)

Good luck! You might want to consider using a timer like slimtimer.com or rescuetime.com. This way you can track your actual productivity. Also post your results after a month, even if you failed.

Joining the challenge to better. Halloween to Heartbreak (a week to prep). Pushing without coasting is something to work on. Just like in spin class...what a rush.

What are you going to be doing for the 3 hours between 6 and 9?

I'm planning on being at the office by 7am each morning. So, i'll be working from 7a-4p.

I'm in the same boat..been getting lazy/complacent, revenues have been declining.
I think I'll do a 16 week challenge too, need something to get me off my ass and motivated.

Good luck dude, but if you notice the big players making 6 figs a month are not putting in 8 hour days, but more like 12-16 hours.

he's not a bot that's for sure. so many of his replies have been gold

I'm actually getting tired of the whole Sumit sham. Do a search on Double Penetration forum for his handle and you'll see that he doesn't even talk the way he does on here, and is probably a kid from jersey pretending to be from little india.

As much as I'd love to believe that the real Sumit does exist, enough with the bullshit already.

2 people I respect a ton are walking backwards. Here's are 2 words that might help you both out.

Boredom & Diversity.

Have other web projects besides SEO/PPC/FB/etc .... there's only so much AM one man can take before they start working the 2 hour days you guys are complaining about.

Get a project that you can build for the future that has nothing to do with aff marketing. It keeps me inspired and the finished product (for me) will make me both more efficient in the future and completely diversified.

By having a "big" project lurking in the background, you have the ability to switch gears at any time when you get complacent. It certainly breaks up the monotony.

I'm not saying what specifically you should do, break out the bong and come up with a big picture. I'm just passing out some food for thought as I've been there before.

... will likely report what happens on my blog...

Hit me with your blog and I'll definitely stop by and bust your balls.

edit: ... ooh yea, good luck!

Part of the goal will be blogging each day what I got done the previous day, so tommorow one of the first things I'll be doing is outlining my goals on 20yearbillionaire.com

The big background project you're totally right about, I've got 100-200 small projects, 25-50 medium projects, and about 5 big projects, so hopefully I won't get too bored with everything.

Yeah , the 100k/mo goal involves SEO & PPC and a few other things (One of the goals will be to do $5k/mo in adsense).
