Doing the low carb thing, somebody shoot me. Then again I get all the steak I can handle basically. Anyone else done this, or similar? I'm combining it with my normal workout, all the protein could help for my lifting. Early on I feel tired as fuck though. 14 days of the strict part, then changing it up

When they are feeling sluggish, I think most people just go from 1 scoop to 2 scoops of jack3d.

Bofu has a crazy diet plan. Apparently it works even better than an acai/colon combo.

As a trainer for over 24 years i can tell you that you will feel low energy for around 2 weeks. This is normal as your body depletes all the muscle glycogen and start swapping over to the stored fat/ketones as the primary energy source. Most of your weight loss is mainly the loss of water that goes with the glycogen depletion. Keep going as now is the time that you start tapping into the bodyfat.:banana_sml:

Awesome. Yeah I read the first 5-6 lbs are water weight during the 2 weeks, then anything after that is fat.

This is correct. Those starting diets tend to cut back sharply on carbs. Carbohydrates hold a lot of water in the body, which gets flushed out quickly, thus a quick weight loss.

Yeah you definitely have to piss a lot on this diet.

Enjoy your keto breath :crap: Can't argue with the results though, a friend's dad lost over 100 lbs in 6 months low carbing and managed to keep it off but said he felt like shit the whole way through.

I'm kind of shocked to see an IM falling for a diet gimmick especially atkins. Pm me for some acai berries, colon cleanse and an ab circle.

Some truths about dieting:
1) it's worthless without exercise.
2) losing weight doesn't mean you lost fat.
3) if you're eating less you're doing it wrong (proper dieting is about raising your metabolism not trying to stay below it).
4) if you're cutting out entire food groups you're doing it wrong.
5) the most powerful & effective dietary supplement in the world is water

I did atkins before here's some notes

watch your liver that shit can devastate it.
you'll eventually get tired of eating all the bacon and cheese and steak you want (really, i know it sounds far fetched) this is when you'll start losing weight. ultimately it's just you're eating less calories which is how weight loss works you're just taking a round about route to it.

doing the low-carb thing, you're going to lose a bunch of weight and then the second you switch up your diet, it's all going to come back.

you need to do a good amount of cardio, and start exercising to really see any difference.

Trust me I know, I'm doing the exercise with it, I've cut down carbs, and increased protein, drinking more water, etc. It may be gimmicky, but low carb does work (see nutritionist above), when done properly. A big part of it is you're eliminating sugar, and processed carbs. You limit the carbs in the first 2 weeks heavily, but still get some from veggies and such. It's a lot of work, and not a license to eat 5 tons of bacon daily or a "MIRACLE ACAI" pill. Body switches from using carbs for energy, to fat, therefore fat gets burned. Not all the popular diets are gimmicks, just most fall victim to lazy people wanting a quick fix-all.
