Someone here suggested at least the first three artists in a thread (with particular tracks), and I've found everything they suggested kicked ass.

I need more. Whoever it was (or anyone else), let's hear your suggestions.

You mean you want more music that might fit in the same genres?

If so you may like Hybrid, Zero 7, Groove Armarda and Ulrich Schnaus, they're all quite different, but then the above are also.

One track of each like you asked?

Hybrid - Just for today

Ulrich Schnaus - Knuddelmaus

Zero 7 - Destiny

Groove Armarda - My Friend

if you love massive attack, check out portishhead
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1PnNrtUTwa4"]YouTube- Broadcast Yourself.[/ame]

Coldcut, Bonobo, Mr. Scruff, pretty much anything on Ninjatune, Thievery Corporation, Tosca, The Orb, Faze Action, Chicken Lips, Crazy P, Swayzak, Chungking, Ladytron, Zero7, International Pony, Seelenluft, Saint Germain, Squarepusher...

I can go on and on, especially if you would like to move into more dance stuff. If you like Benassi or motorcycle, try Cassius maybe. If you'd like to try a more refined house sound go here... Flapjack Records and look for the dropdown to download Frankie J's fall promo mix (amongst others), here http://www.spatulacityrecords.com and download the Bryan Jones WMC 2009 promo mix. This is fantastic stuff.

+1 for all the above recommendations too, those are all good suggestions.

I listened to all the YouTube embeds here and didn't like any of them. :-(

Motorcycle - As The Rush Comes is basically my new favorite song though.

I like the punchy bass feel, so perhaps dance/rave shit is what I'm looking for.

I'll check out some of the named artists here later. Thanks for the effort so far guys. :-)

Dunno, a lot of what you listed is lo-fi downtempo, dubby stuff, especially the Massive Attack. Aphex is all over the map. None of it other than maybe Benassi is what I would consider dance/rave. If you like Massive Attack look for their singles box set from a few years ago. 11 discs in a colour changing brown box that has tons of good stuff in it.

Did you download any of the house sets I linked to? That's some killer jackin' house right there, Chicago style. Heavy on the jazz and swing samples. Very well put together.

Perhaps also look at www.beatport.com and browse by artist or genre to find more stuff that you might like. Scope the DJ Charts and the top 10 (100) sales lists in each section.

Cut copy - Melbourne group, they fuckin kill it. (make sure you crank it and listen to the whole song, or atleast half)

Same deal here with the Midnight Juggernauts

If you're not into that (then you're crazy), but if you prefer something a little more main-stream, this is a good track

The earlier artists are quite disparate, so if this is your favourite then you clearly have a liking of house. Personally i don't massively like that Motorcycle tune, but i used to DJ progressive house and think you'd find decent likable music from DJs such as Sasha, John Digweed, Dave Seaman, Nick Warren, Hernan Cataneo, Danny Howells and Satoshi Tomiie.

Perhaps the Global Underground series in general.

I suspect you'd love this, because of the baseline. Takes a minute to get going by the way. ;)

I presume you prefer vocals in your music?

Just remembered, Tom Middleton as well, he does some serious shit hot remixes, listen to these 2. One's a large Bedrock remix the other a down tempo Lamb Remix. (You'd probably like Lamb, namely the tunes Goreki, Gabriel, Stronger... but everything they do is shit hot.)

Bedrock - Forge (This has to be given time, like all progressive house, it takes a while to really lift off!)

Lamb - That Sound (Unbelievable brilliance of a tune.)

As the rush comes is awesome... I like this mix:

For the most part I hate commercial dance like Digweed, Oakenfold, Sasha, etc. It's so uninspiring, same pads and boring progressions that they've been doing forever. I'm not a big fan of vocal house. Cheesy pianos and diva vocals curl my toes.

Middleton can be awesome though. He goes by The Cosmos as well (amongst others) and some of that is very good. Also, the old Jedi Knights stuff which he was half of is the bomb. Proper electro breaks acid style of a superb quality.

Lamb and their remixes are fantastic. My favorite would be the garage MJ Cole mix of Gabriel which I heard for the first time on an Audio Bullys mix. Loved it so much I found a white label of it on ebay, but contacted the band at the same time and they sent me a copy too, for free, which was awfully nice of them... so I have two of these on vinyl.

Sound quality is a bit bunk on both the recordings on Youtube that I could find, this is the better of the two... baseline kicks in at 1:30 and if it doesn't move you then you are dead to the world.

I absolutely love deep/funky/jackin' house with minimal tripped out vocals and interesting hooks/melodies and unorthodox baselines. Seriously, you are missing out if you don't try some of the sets I linked to above...

Also try LAWNCHAIR GENERALS and download their monthly promo mixes.

You can also try www.fishgodeep.com and download their weekly podcasts and weekly radio shows.

There's some absolutely brilliant stuff on Proton Radio. Look for Jimpster's sets and his Freerange podcasts.

If you go to LiveSets.com - Electronic Music Community and sign up for their forum you can get to links people post of literally thousands of weekly radio shows and recorded DJ sets in all genres.

If you are into torrents, go to themixingbowl.org for more of the above, every radio show on the planet is recorded and shared there, along with tons of live sets.

As I mentioned previously, www.beatport.com is THE best source for elctronic/urban music. Just about everyone that is anyone is on there. Also a favorite is damnnoisy.com - MP3 Download Store. It's home to the likes of Kinky Movement, Inland Knights, Da Sunlounge, Wattie Green, LCG, etc. I said before I don't like vocal house, but this is pretty damn good, especially the LCG mix...

damnnoisy.com - MP3 Download - 1.89 / Winding Rhodes EP by Dave Miller feat. Kelly Hayden on Motion Music

Last but not least, if you aren't adverse to downloading less than legal music, ..::.0daymusic.::.. is especially good. Works best if you have an uploaded.to account.

I would have to disagree, as you clearly don't liste to this sort of music. For one, you can't ever put Oakenfold in with Sasha, Digweed etc. He's plays commercial shit, they play music that is far from commercial. They also don't play anything cheesy of vocal laden, that's Oakenfold again! :)

A load of the other stuff is good though, Hexstatic - Rewind is superb and very much in the Tom Middleton mold, much like Jedi Knights, although obviously that is Middleton. Properly top notch shit.
