Yeah yeah I'm on some bullshit, but these fucking rude ass servers ruined my night.

Ever been into a bar with friends having a good ole time and come across rude employees with an attitude that are a total buzzkill?

Get to the last bar a bit late, order drinks by 1:30 ish, and start playin some games waiting for an open pool table. Takes a few... but not a bad atmostphere. All of the sudden shit changes and the staff are complete fuckups.

And to boot, it's 1:57 and the bitch walks over unannounced while I'm shooting pool and poors a glass of ice water INTO MY FULL PITCHER OF BEER! Then she empties my glass into it as well. WTF (I hadn't even finished one beer yet!)

I dropped the cue and was like, um, that was a full pitcher you just ruined. She says, oh you guys can't stay here and finish your game or drinks, you have to get out.

I look at my group of friends and was like, lets get the fuck out of here before somebody gets really pissed.

Come to find out it wasn't just me.... there were other people in the parking lot that carried out their pitchers of beer because the servers were being complete bitches. lol Had I known that was goona happen, I would have done the same... bartenders never mentioned anything about closing early or needing to finish by a certain time when purchasing.

Been twice now, and the first time I thought the girl was just havin a bad day or somrethin. Second time in a row, different chick, same shit. Time for some action.

So I'm thinking a lil gary theim action on this place, plus maybe a local review site.

Two things, what would you do? And, how many shell corps does one need for protection against a defamation suit? ;)

You go drinking at closing time and are disappointed they don't want you hanging around til 3?

I have little sympathy for people who think they have some beer makes them king of the world until they finish it.

Umm yes I used to work in a bar.

Flame on.

But really the bartender should not have poured it unless you were pretty sober and were gonna slam it.

I agree too, but at the same time, don't ruin beers!

I used to do the exact same thing when I was a bartender.

The waitress needs to learn some social skills, but her actions were entirely normal and expected. No business owner wants to risk his liquor license so you can keep drinking after 2:00. What are you doing with a full pitcher at 1:57 anyway? Drink up.

The bars I worked in, all ran on 'bar time', in other words we set the clocks forward by 10 minutes. This gave us an small edge in making sure all alcohol was off the tables by 2:00.

A well managed bar will warn everyone that they have 5 minutes to drink up or they will lose their drinks. When the five minutes are up, the lights come on, the music stops and all drinks are removed.

Last call is usually 15-30 min before closing and they should let you know. It's shit to let you order only to turn around and take it away from you. Even shittier to walk over and not say anything and just ruin your drinks. I would have flipped.

I would have been pretty fucking pissed. First, I would have grabbed the pitcher of beer and started chugging the fucking thing getting beer all over the damn floor and my shirt. I would have then went into the bathroom and pissed all over the fucking place.

Who doesn't know the bar closes at 2am?

Who orders a pitcher and sips 1 glass in a half hour from 1:30 to 2:00am?

They should of warned you that you had three minutes to chug your pitcher, other than that, this is entirely your fault.

Dude, that is some FUCKED UP SHIT they pulled on you. I more or less live in bars, and that shit has NEVER happened to me. In fact, I don't even know what the fuck I would have done, but I would have been FURIOUS.

P.S. I don't think you can get sued for defamation unless you make shit up. The truth is the truth.

lmao @ some of the responses in the thread. I think sgtryan had it right.

The point is server skills... when someone is across the room on the other side of a pool table, you don't walk over and pour water in their beer.

You simply say, "hey guys, we close in 3 minutes and you need to finish your drinks now or I'll need to take them."

@moniez- I was kinda kidding about the defamation thing... anyone can sue you with defamation if you're publicly slandering their person (s) or establishment, but you gotta have money to play with. I was thinking of starting a local review site for shit like this, that's why I was thinking of the potential negatives.
